The boost is 200hp but you could crank it with a chip and undoubtedly blow your turbos.

I thought it was a single turbo 4 cyl?

Scotty will have to bring the tech on that one but I thought they were pretty safe to up the boost a little.

my car was chipped (double the stock boost) for 70,000 miles. when the engine kablooied i took a long look at the turbah and it was in excellent condition. it was back in the car when i sold it and burned zero oil.

they are generally very reliable turbos. many people have reported taking them past 150k without major issues. what kills them, especially in the 2.7TT, is improper cool down and improper oil weight/type.

chipped 2.0's are animals. nearly 100 lb. ft. increase from software alone.

A3's don't have issues. Mike...are these "problems" CELs or actual stuff just not working any more? Audis will throw a CEL if a bird craps on them....usually just an annoyance.

for the record, i just got my recent Motor Trend issue and the C30 was ranked far behind the GTI and the Mini. however it was considered the best cruiser. i think they're awesome from the front, and heinous from the rear.
