It's funny you should say that. RJ's Sprint service was terrible, which was why he switched out. I don't recall what my service was like before I bought a new phone (this is where everybody that went to Laguna berates me), but with my new phone I get better service than almost everybody I know. I get satisfactory conversations where I'm routinely told service isn't available at all. I don't know enough about cell service to say that the carrier signal is better on one network or another, or if the phone really plays that big of a part at all.. I just know that, for the most part, I'm very happy with the service I've been getting.
*oops, I totally forogot to mention, I'm on the Sprint network with a Samsung A900
