Just as scary as Isle of Man: Macau GP (video)

Just as dangerous as Isle of Man except you're racing with a full grid of other bikes. Kevin Schwantz once did this race with his GP500 bike Confusedhock:

Nice find! Do you have a copy of the image from Macau a few years ago where one of the rider brushed a wall with his shoulder? I remember that when he saw the photo of himself he was rather shocked and and he hadn't realized he was THAT close.
When it comes to Ryan Jenkins, the story ends with me putting him in the wall.

That was John McGuinness. Actually, it could be anyone, a lot of guys rub shoulders with the barriers. The Macau GP is part of the series that includes IOMTT, so naturally it is the territory of hard men and lunatics. It also includes the fastest closed circuit race in the world....the Ulster GP. fastest ever average lap speed is 130.829mphÔÇöit also contains 2 bus stops and 176 telephone poles.

Psst, Phil, it was Steve Plater Wink

But yeah, the racing is quite possibly some of the coolest in the world. I still want to participate in the IOMTT at least once. Can somebody commit to making sure my coffin gets shipped home properly?

if anyone else noticed, there are no spectators for macau. just cameras and officials. people who live in overlooking apartments are ordered to keep their windows covered. spectators are strictly forbidden. which also makes the race that much weirder....
