FS: *THE* starter bike. And ready for the track. The GS500. - BLINGMW - 03-20-2010 http://roanoke.craigslist.org/mcy/1653307624.html ![]() MM price $2000. This has seen a few track weekends, but a recent valve adjustment and confirmed good compression, and I think it's ready for a whole lot more. Tires and brakes have 3 track days on them. Re: FS: *THE* starter bike. And ready for the track. The GS500. - SlimKlim - 04-07-2010 Oh sweet mother of god I'd give three left nuts to have this. If its still around in July (which I seriously doubt it will be), I'll be on it like a fat kid on a cupcake, but I gotta make some summer money before I even think about buying a bike.
Re: FS: *THE* starter bike. And ready for the track. The GS500. - fiveoh2go - 04-07-2010 You're too tall for a bike. Re: FS: *THE* starter bike. And ready for the track. The GS500. - Jake - 04-08-2010
Re: FS: *THE* starter bike. And ready for the track. The GS500. - BLINGMW - 04-08-2010 well actually, it didn't sell right away and my brother decided he wanted to "lease" it from me... so he'd riding it now and might buy it. Assuming he doesn't crash it, and decides not to buy it in another couple months, it's all yours. Re: FS: *THE* starter bike. And ready for the track. The GS500. - SlimKlim - 04-14-2010 Well then in that case, ill get back to you in a couple months. :-) Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk Re: FS: *THE* starter bike. And ready for the track. The GS5 - BLINGMW - 05-04-2015 Well it's been more than a few months.... BUT, my brother has moved on to a V-Strom. Anyone want a cheap GS500 that still runs great? I am really tempted to buy it but I think I'll pass. Tell me if you're actually interested, bike is still located in Roanoke. Re: FS: *THE* starter bike. And ready for the track. The GS5 - SlimKlim - 05-04-2015 Holy hell, I'll say. So if the MM price was $2k 5 years ago, accounting for depreciation, how does $20 sound? Re: FS: *THE* starter bike. And ready for the track. And it's got a bunch more miles on it and probably a few more scratches. But it's still sprung for a decent size person, rides well and sounds great, at least when I took it out late last year. :dunno: I would be surprised if he got more than $1200 for it though, I have no idea. It is like 13 years old. Re: FS: *THE* starter bike. And ready for the track. The GS5 - SlimKlim - 05-06-2015 Hey I have a friend who's interested in this thing, what's the full scoop on it? Miles? Recent Maintenance? Asking Price? Re: FS: *THE* starter bike. And ready for the track.
