When I visit the forum there are multiple threads that are new to me. But I click on one and they all turn off. Is there a problem here Jack?

sounds like a problem on your end, i haven't experienced it on any of the 3 machines i've used today to view the site.

yup, same happens to me at work and at home. Sometimes they stay like they should, but sometimes they all decide to clear, like I've read everything. Which, I must admit, is usually my goal, but that's kind of cheating.

If your browser isnt allowing cookies this will happen.

'taint regular though. And happens to me both in IE at work, cookies and all, and on Opera at home, with cookies enabled as well. Usually it works, sometimes, not.

Same here... just occasionally. I'll log in and not read all the posts, but when I come back, they're all marked as read.

yeah I think I've figured out if you close the window, any new posts you haven't read are lost. I just leave the window open until I've read them all.

yeah it's happened to me before too, not consistent, which kinda concerns me...but i don't care about that too much
Jack - there is an issue where there will be 20 posts and it'll produce a second page, but the last post will not on the second page and thus rendering it useless until another post is made and is place on the second page....does that make sense?
not a big concern at all, just wondering if it could lead to a larger problem or something

Probably due to someone deleting a post, nothing can be done about that.

alright, if you sign in, and don't read all the posts while you're in, after 30 mins or so, and you sign back in, all the posts will be marked as read, because it assumes you didn't want to read them.
If you're just browsing through, and you click the first post, and the rest immediately jump to being read, your cookies are being eaten...

I've used IE, Firefox, and Safari on the site, and all work fine. Check your configs.
Last possibility is that your stupid provider does some goofy cacheing...
