I need a plumber in nova - .RJ - 02-12-2009 Anyone have any recommendations before I get out the phone book? Hot water heater wont stay lit. Woke up with a massive headache and a top ffloor full of gas (not my own, for once).
- Apoc - 02-12-2009 I don't know if they serve your area. http://www.plumb-crazy.com - Evan - 02-12-2009 Ill get the name of the place I used when I get home tonght, they were pretty good. I have a 15% off coupon too. - BLINGMW - 02-12-2009 might want to give this site a shot, it's probably useful in larger areas, not so much around Roanoke yet... http://www.angieslist.com/Angieslist/ Maybe try giving the gas company a call first? I'm glad you're not dead BTW. hock:

Too bad the front door lock is still fucking broken :? - .RJ - 02-12-2009 BLINGMW Wrote:I'm glad you're not dead BTW. I left the house, and i'm making a call in a few minutes to up my renters insurance. I really dont give a damn if that whole place goes up in flames. Oh, also our internet doesnt work reliably enough to work from home right now either. - Apoc - 02-12-2009 http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/ ... 73588.html - .RJ - 02-12-2009 But then *I* have to pay to fix the problem  - Apoc - 02-12-2009 .RJ Wrote:But then *I* have to pay to fix the problem  Right now, we have to pay for it by listening to you bitch. I thought you didn't like socialism? - .RJ - 02-12-2009 Apoc Wrote:I thought you didn't like socialism? I'm not asking for a bailout to buy me a house  Edit - I make too much to get any kind of hand out anyways... - Jewels - 02-12-2009 RJ, we recommend Wacker Plumbing to our customers. Nice people, they are based out of Sterling. - .RJ - 02-12-2009 Damn... western fairfax county/loudon. I'll call them and see if they have any "inside the beltway" recommendations. - .RJ - 02-12-2009 So the duct from the roof gets air blown back into the house, and then blows out the gas light, and then the safety switch likes to work real slow... so we get a house full of gas AND carbon monoxide! Fun times! - WRXtranceformed - 02-12-2009 I mean that doesn't sound dangerous at all! haha How old is the house you're living in? I took for granted the upgrades in technology when I was building houses. - .RJ - 02-12-2009 It was built in 2000. If I ever buy a house built in the same time frame as this, it will be getting a very careful inspection. Now do I sue the landlord? - Sijray21 - 02-12-2009 maybe that's why the other house in your complex got lit up!? your landlord should be on top of this asap, shouldn't they be looking for a plumber? not you? - .RJ - 02-12-2009 Sijray21 Wrote:your landlord should be on top of this asap Now thats comedy. She doesnt give a shit about ANYTHING as long as the rent check shows up on time. - Sijray21 - 02-12-2009 .RJ Wrote:....as long as the rent check shows up on time. sounds like she needs a little 'push' then...when is your lease up? start calculating the prorated rent after a 'reasonable' time to respond. - .RJ - 02-12-2009 Yeah, state law doesnt work that way. The best way to handle it is to get the repairs done and then knock it off the rent. Its better than relying on her lazy ass anyways. - Sijray21 - 02-12-2009 .RJ Wrote:Yeah, state law doesnt work that way.
