Anyone have any recommendations before I get out the phone book?
Hot water heater wont stay lit. Woke up with a massive headache and a top ffloor full of gas (not my own, for once).

Yeah today must be my lucky day. I got a hot shower and I didn't almost succumb to gas fumes before I went to work. Too bad the front door lock is still fucking broken :?

So the duct from the roof gets air blown back into the house, and then blows out the gas light, and then the safety switch likes to work real slow... so we get a house full of gas AND carbon monoxide! Fun times!

It was built in 2000.
If I ever buy a house built in the same time frame as this, it will be getting a very careful inspection.

Yeah, state law doesnt work that way. The best way to handle it is to get the repairs done and then knock it off the rent. Its better than relying on her lazy ass anyways.
