thats the way to do it. didn't I see you at a Hyperfest in the Matrix?

probably. i was running hpde1 for the first time this year. i was wearing number 42. the second day, second session i came really close to overheating so i had to cut that session short and then take the final session a bit easier.

haven't decided on a class yet... so i'm starting the car out as a spec 944 build for mostly financial reasons (so it's keeping the 2.5 for now). i can always move on from there.

Holy zombie thread batman!

Re: project: 944 na - Roxtar - 07-19-2010

wow... forgot about my thread here.
anyway, update time
the '86 is now my parts car. back in may i bought an '88 in much better mechanical shape. It finally passed state inspection on saturday after i replaced a tie rod end, steering rack boot, and tail light lens. i'm currently trying to track down a vac leak so she'll run a bit better (currently idles a tad high, not bad really).

after that's done, i should do the timing belts since I don't know how old the current ones are and look into the oil leaks. the front seals seem fine, I do have some oil leaking from the rear of the engine (not sure of source... haven't really looked)
