so yea im bored, decided to take some pics of the garage for everyone to see and eventually take pics of the house.
I have it how i want it for the time being, short term goals, 2 ceiling fans and Garage Door Openers. Long term, air compressor, resurface the floor and add Paneling to the walls to clean it up a bit.
Dimensions are 20x30 approx. I love it so far, no major surgery has gone down in it yet. But my car along with Casey's Focus fit in it Very Very comfortably.

Before, picture the garage completely empty, with about an inch of grease and dirt on the floors, I used some floor cleaner on the empty bay and just haven't had the motivation to do my bay yet.
Plenty of room for the whip...

Mandatory beer fridge, gonna build a platform for it so it sits off the ground, and my toolbox, and a free cabinet my dad got from his workplace.

Pre Existing Workbench, I want to put some sort of durable panel or finish on the top of this as its covered in dirt and grime, except for the half i temporarily covered with panel board. I wanna try and cover behind it completely with traffic signs....

All in all I Love the new house and the garage, The garage was the deciding factor for me, compared to the other houses we looked at. Ill keep this updated as much as possible, tomorrow ill take some pics of the crib and post up, but first things first the garage takes precedence.

See if you can score some old countertop or metal sheet to cover the workbench with - plywood is ok but it gets gross. I wouldnt bother with the ceiling fans, just get some big ass floor fans, like you already have - they're awesome. Get as much lighting as you can get in there - it really helps - especially when you prep the floor. Looks like you could insulate in and sheetrock the sides of the garage - this will help keep it warmer in the winter, and will help the lighting too. Compressor and a press will be very helpful - get a quiet compressor if you can swing it, I cant hear myself think with the one I have running. May want to think about a 220V outlet at some point too for a welder

kind of a weird question but what kind of locks does the garage have? being seperate from the house i think i'd get paranoid someone would break in and take my stuff. nothin against your neighborhood or anything, just saying.

The plywood is temporary, im gonna find some scrap sheetmetal more than likely, my dad has a shit ton laying around, and/or some old countertop like you said. I plan on insulating it and having an a/c window unit as well as a space heater. But screw sheet rock, im goin with just laminate paneling thats like 10 bucks a sheet. I have been contemplating on building a concrete slab behind my garage and building a shelter for a compressor. but if all else fails ill put it in a corner and build a box around it with some soundproofing. I have planned on a 220 outlet for the welder thing, just gotta figure out how to weld. And im planning on picking up a shit ton more lights from home depot, at 15 bucks for the "shoplights", as well as repositioning the existing lights, they are all kinda in one area, and one is out in no mans land...

Checked the crime reports in the neighborhood, nothing within the last 5 years i believe. But garage doors have locks and the door has a lock and a deadbolt. funny thing is around Richmond there have been instances of burglary in peoples cars who leave them parked in their driveway about 2 miles from where I live. No signs of forced entry, because every car that was broken into was unlocked........DUMBASSES!!!!
I lock my car in my locked garage.....

Shep has his own room, I have dedicated the Master bedroom to him, he has his own shower and 2 closets.
