Project - Jeff's House - Jeff - 04-02-2008

So yeah, I bought a house! I decided not to post until we closed on it, until all was final. The mortgage broker showed up at the title company in his Range Rover wearin gator boots....it was at that moment that I new I had picked the right people for the job. Smile

So I posted in here because much like a car this house will be a huge and drawn out project for me. I already have goals and things that need doing.

Vitals-
Year - 2006
Style - "Duplex" (though it does not meet the true definition)
Bed Rooms - 3
Baths - 2.5
Sq ft - 2000est
Heat - Natural gas
A/C - Central
Garage - single car
Basement - poured concrete
Floors - hardwood/carpet/vinyl

Finally, the pictorial tour

Coming though the front door, living room/kitchen strait ahead, stairs to the left, half bath and garage doors to the right.

The first floor is mostly one big open space. The fireplace is natural gas and the area above it is wired for the TV.

The garage

Going upstairs

Washer and dryer in the door to the left, 2 other bedrooms strait ahead.

bedrooms (nice stain!)

They have a full bath...I'll spare you the picture, anyway on to the master!

Master is pretty big, and the upstairs deck comes off it there with the goofy porthole window. And the other door goes to my favorite room in the house...my bawlin bathroom...

Oh, one of the view off the deck

That's all for the photo tour. Now for the list of "to dos"

1. Door knobs. I just spent $250 on new ones. The house had no deadbolts, it sure has some nice ones now.
2. Dig up the "mexican garden"

3. CLEAN!
4. Fix kitchen floor where they F'ed it takin out the fridge
[Image: DSC00328.jpg]

5. Paint!
6. Fix the busted ass rail on the back deck
[Image: DSC00323.jpg]

Its mostly little cosmetic things. I hope to get it up to par and be moved in completely in the next few months. Burn it down MM party?

Awesome man, congrats!! A bunch of the MMer's are buying up houses lately... I won't blow up anyone else's spot, I'll wait until they spill the beans!! Wink

Place looks awesome, those are some really nice cabinets in the kitchen! I like your soaking tub too, make sure you really take care of those jets.. they're a pain to keep clean. You've got lots of room to grow into that thing too, that basement is nice!
