Husky Composite 1/2 inch Impact wrench ($80) - Andy - 02-12-2008 I bought it for christmas of 06 last year along with my pepboys battery impact wrench. I only used it for really seized bolts/axle nuts. It's been run for maybe a total of 10 minutes. It has 600 ft/lbs of torque, 550 reverse which should break just about anything loose. Here's the company propaganda: This powerful 1/2 In. impact offers maximum 600 Ft. lbs. of reverse torque and 550 Ft. lbs of forward torque. Its powerful twin-hammer impact mechanism provides tremendous power and smooth balanced blows. Ergonomic housing design for ease of operation. It offers 7700 Free Speed RPM and 1100 Impacts per minute. Bottom handle exhaust directs air away from work piece and operator for ease in matching power to application. * 600 Reverse Ft. Lbs. (Maximum Torque) * 550 Forward Ft. Lbs. (Maximum Torque) * 7700 RPM (Free Speed) * 1/2 In. Drive Size * 1100 Impacts (per minute) * Powerful twin-hammer impact mechanism provides tremendous power and smooth balanced blows * Ergonomic housing design for ease of operation * MFG Brand Name : HUSKY * MFG Model # : H4150 * MFG Part # : H4150 Brand new its 129, I'm selling it for 80 ![]()
- NTIman - 02-12-2008 This gun looks very similar to the Ingersoll I use at work. I've used my gun every day for over 2 years, and it'll do damn near anything you need it to do, and mine's been through some abuse. I'd definately recommend this gun for anyone who doesn't have one. - Andy - 02-13-2008 NTIman Wrote:This gun looks very similar to the Ingersoll I use at work. Do you have the Thundergun? - NTIman - 02-13-2008 Nah, I have an Ingersoll 2135ti - white_2kgt - 02-13-2008 Andy Wrote:NTIman Wrote:This gun looks very similar to the Ingersoll I use at work. I think pete has the Thundergun, things sounds like a jet plane taking off in your garage! - jongp3 - 02-14-2008 Had this impact for awhile, takes off everything except Honda Crank bolts - Andy - 02-14-2008 jongp3 Wrote:Had this impact for awhile, takes off everything except Honda Crank bolts Really? My old gun that was weaker than this took off honda crank bolts all day. If 550 ftlbs isn't break it loose, you've got problems. - jongp3 - 02-19-2008 Andy Wrote:jongp3 Wrote:Had this impact for awhile, takes off everything except Honda Crank bolts damn mine must have sucked, always had to go down the street and borrow the 3/4 inch trucker impact to snap those crank bolts off - Chris - 02-19-2008 jongp3 Wrote:Had this impact for awhile, takes off everything except Honda Crank bolts haha I took mine off with a breaker bar and a BFH. took about an hour of wacking away at it, but I got that bastard! |
