Its a newer video game that came out for xbox 360, pretty badass, great story line, that thing he dressed up as is a "big daddy", who are hard to kill because they protect the "little sisters", the girl from the cabinet. And they get the little sisters by banging on holes in the wall in the game, hence why he was banging on the cabinet....
