MM Chili Cookoff! - Evan - 06-17-2004
I have been playing around with the idea of having an MM Chili Cookoff this summer at my house.
I make a damn good bowl of chili, and I know Kaan makes some good stuff too, and I bet some of you other guys are pretty good cooks so bring it on.
Plenty of entertainment - we have a pool, pool table, darts, and most importantly, RJs mom is right down the road.
The Date is up in the air, July is pretty packed with track events (and vacations im sure) so sometime in august would be best. how is the last weekend in august for everybody?

Any culinary item ya'll would like me to make? I'll make anything you want, whatever course. Just so long as it's not like...lobster tail or something. Good idea Evan! However, won't JMU be starting up the last week of August? BTW, all ya'll MMers living in Northern VA, I'm here if you ever want to do anything.

i gotta learn to make chili and smoke all of you...
kinda funny story, my division at work has lots of pot luck lunches, one of which is a chili cook off. the guy that sits in the cube across from me is really old and in very poor health. he constantly busts ass at work and it drives me out of my cube for atleast 15 minutes. keep in mind this is atleast 2 or 3 times a day. however, on chili days, i have to plan ahead and setup stuff to do not at my desk because its that bad. sometimes its worth it for really good chili though. plus it gives me an excuse to hang out elsewhere at work.

My first choice is also August 7, because it is my birthday weekend as well and a party is in order. Might be some snags because I am supposed to be at the beach then, but might be able to work something out (ie- ditch beach and gf gets pisssed)
