Happy New Year - Ginger - 01-01-2007 I couldn't find a thread for it already. So happy new year! What are your motorsports resolutions/goals for the upcoming season? I've got a lot of them, but I think I'm going to net the biggest results from learning how to use the clutch on the bike properly on track. - ScottyB - 01-01-2007 happy new year! my resolution is to autocross at least 3 times this year. i nneeeedd motorsports in my life again. - G.Irish - 01-01-2007 *Learn to slide the rear of a motorcycle proficiently. *Get good on threshold and trail braking on a motorcycle. *Try out driving a 100cc or shifter kart - PGK - 01-01-2007 happy new year etc. my goals are mostly economical in nature. but they also include: -keep building my skills as a mechanic -go back to college Re: Happy New Year - Apoc - 01-01-2007 asteele2 Wrote:What are your motorsports resolutions/goals for the upcoming season? Don't crash and maybe win a race or two. - Mike - 01-01-2007 fix bike, don't go down if that happens. pass instructor clinic... if funds go nicely, maybe rent a car for race license? - Feersty - 01-01-2007 Happy 2007 everyone. I should be able to get my car paid off this year and move significant funds to IRA, Money market, and 401(k). I will also look to move out at some point and go to a place I have never been before. Miami, South Dakota, or somewhere else. - Dave - 01-01-2007 goals this year include going back on a workout program and getting back in shape, sell off some cars and move towards a more sensible car situation (GASP!!), eliminate/minimize my debt to make a mortgage easier, get 240z track ready, and potentially become an instructor. I also would like to dump a significant chunk of change into an IRA to buffer my retirement plans as well as drive at a few new tracks. - ScottyB - 01-02-2007 Dave Wrote:workout program and getting back in shape. i'll second that for myself too. i remember when i used to be able to run a few miles as a "warmup"...... and dammit Dave stop teasing me with the Z! all of you guys selling off the old/getting new hotness is making me want to jump on the bandwagon  - Beej - 01-02-2007 Big red: make it run like it's supposed to (whatever the hell the problem is). Daily. Bling out, make it the 'complete' car that I want. Silver: Put new engine in it. Maybe man up and do some real track events? STi: Sell it, then miss it. - Mike - 01-02-2007 dave broke the rules and listed personal goals... my goal is to run a half marathon. i really want to do a full one, but if you shoot for the stars it's just farther to fall
