VFR hardbags - stevegula - 11-07-2006 I'm sure a lot of y'all spend time looking at parts and such for sale. If anyone happens to spot a set of VFR hard saddlebags for sale (eBay and such) could ya keep me posted. It would be much appreciated. (I'm trying to find a full set of respectable hardbags to throw on the SV) - JohnC - 11-07-2006 At least among VFR folks, Givi cases are popular, reliable, and less expensive than the factory cases. - stevegula - 11-07-2006 JohnC Wrote:At least among VFR folks, Givi cases are popular, reliable, and less expensive than the factory cases. Givi's new for my bike are over $1000 when you include mounts. I watched a set of VFR bags go for under $500 on eBay a few weeks back. Only problem was I couldn't afford them then. Still can't now, really. I'm just hoping someone spots a craptacular deal somewhere. - .paul - 11-07-2006 so u are keeping the SV now ? - Ginger - 11-08-2006 Givi's leak. - stevegula - 11-08-2006 SV is probably being kept. No one is expressing interest in buying it so I might as well start turning it into the bike I wanted it to be. |
