I understand lee. This car isn't meant to be a daily or even sunday driver anymore. It seems like it needs to be in car shows, on magazine covers, and at the drag strip whoopin ass and taking names. So yeah, get something new, something you want, and enjoy it.

Scotty, as of right now it's looking like either a C5 Z06 or a paddle shifting, convertible C6 with minor boltons, possible head / cam work with (at the absolute extreme) possibly a 150 shot of nitrous. I'm also considering 03 / 04 Cobras, but I'm more drawn to the idea of NA power. This will happen most likely AFTER I purchase my house sometime next year so that I have a better chance of getting a good interest rate on a mortgage. I won't mind driving only the IS around for a while.
I'm really just getting a jumpstart on this sale, as I anticipated it to sit for a while. To my surprise, I've already had a few bites on it. =)

Lee, I think this is a good call for you. I mean, what do you do with a one-of-a-kind 450hp monstrosity? You call magazines and get sponsors and keep the car behind a velvet rope.
