e36 goodies from my M3 - Yahosh - 02-15-2006 Ok bimmer guys, I've got stuff for you. First up is the cat-back exhaust off of my M3. It's in good condition (it was working perfectly fine when I took it off) and has about 70-75k miles on it. It will easily replace the cat-back from any 6-cyl e36 I believe and there are lots of write ups about how to do it. I've heard that it gets rid of a the raspy sound from non-Ms, but I can't confirm that. In any case the polished, staggered tips will look pretty sweet. Looking to get $140, but I'm open to offers. Next is the factory 6-disc cd changer with bracket. This too should work with any e36 bmw, and may work with other models but you'd have to do some checking to find out. I'm pretty sure it's the Alpine model and it worked perfectly when I took it out. The mounting bracket is included and - get this - I'll even throw in the stock c33 headunit for free, with the security code! Not only will it control the changer but it's got a built in TAPE PLAYER!! Anyway, I'm asking $100 for everything, which normally runs over $400 from the stealership just for the changer. All I ask is that I can have my cds back that I accidentally left in it when I disconnected it from my car. I've got some bmw floor mats if anyone wants them. They aren't the M3 ones, but they do say BMW on them. They're in decent shape, but definately used. $15? Edit: The chip is sold. So, that's it for now... anyone interested?
- CaptainHenreh - 02-15-2006 Do any of these things come with an M3 attatched? - Yahosh - 02-15-2006 lol, sure, but the price has to go up quite a bit.
- Yahosh - 02-16-2006 really? nobody is interested? there's gotta be someone out there... - Sijray21 - 02-16-2006 Yahosh Wrote:really? nobody is interested? there's gotta be someone out there... hunter might be interested, but he's never on here

Go to the nerdcave! - Chris - 02-16-2006 just spoke with him tonight actually. he got a kirk racing roll bar installed (well did it himself using a tractor!) but here is his email: brown2hm@jmu.edu - Yahosh - 02-17-2006 sweet, thanks man i'll shoot him an email. i'm still trying to figure out how the tractor fits into the equation while installing a roll bar, but don't tell me, i'll use my imagination... - Nick325is - 02-17-2006 Well it involves buying a roll bar meant for a non sunroof car and then installing it into a car with a sunroof. It was quite a tight fit to get it in the car. Somehow his sunroof still works hock: Nick - Myuki - 02-20-2006 i know someone who might might want the cat-back. I'll ask him when he gets out of class. - Yahosh - 02-20-2006 Sweet. Yeah man, tell everyone you know. It's just sitting in my garage taking up space. All you e36 people out there running stock exhausts need to get in on this! $150 is a lot less expensive than anything in the aftermarket, trust me. - Yahosh - 02-21-2006 Hm, link to pics didn't work... well, I can email pics to anyone who wants them, just let me know. - Hunter - 02-21-2006 Yea my roll bar install fun, I just like having a reason to use the tractor. I talked to someone who told me the non-sunroof kirk roll bar actually fits quite well inside a e36 with a sunroof, it's just such a tight fit you aren't going to get it in there without some serious muscle (aka rope and a tractor or truck). Anyway, the M3 exhaust is a good choice for the 325 or 328. It does make it sound a bit meaner, but smoother as well. It's also a perfect fit which can't be said for all the after market exhausts out there. - Yahosh - 02-22-2006 Thanks for the input Hunter. Just wanted to let everyone know that I've lowered the prices! Offers welcome. |
