wrecked! - christo - 10-31-2005

Coming up fox mill rd towards my house around 4:45am, went up a hill. As I reached the top, saw a car sideways in the road about 15 ft from the crest of the hill. The driver was out of his vehicle and in my lane. Swerved left, Locked the brakes up, screamed like a bitch, threw my hands up and had impact.

Radiator support smashed in, front pass hub busted, hood, fenders, windshield, rear quarter panel dented.

Bruised knee and bloody nose from the airbag.

Guy blew a .16 BAC (repeat offender) and they locked him up.

Glad to be alive and hope I get something out of this. New car?

Don't really know if he's at fault though, so I might not get anything out of this since his car was stopped and I hit him. sigh. going to the hospital now.

- Mike - 10-31-2005

not sure it's his fault? .16 bac you can rest assured he's at fault.

- Ginger - 10-31-2005

The police took a report, right? Hopefully they assigned blame, too...

Glad to hear you're alright.

- ScottyB - 10-31-2005

- bassmangrammy - 10-31-2005

.16BAC, you could have kicked his ass and raped his dog, it would have been his fault.

- JackoliciousLegs - 10-31-2005

That sucks... and yeah... I have no tolerance for people who drive drunk... bastehds. He should pay for your car out of pocket.

- NaptownE36 - 10-31-2005

Sucks man! Drunk drivers should be shot. Good you're ok at least. Time for that Lambo Smile

glad you're ok!

threw your hands up?? "don't ever give up, keep on driving" (unkefer)

- Evan - 11-01-2005

its not a bad idea at the last millisecond. saves hand injury

and it looks like the choices were hit a guy or hit his car (or maybe hit a tree?)
he made the right choice

yeah, but maybe hitting the guy would have helped him learn the lesson better

sorry 'bout your car, glad you're mostly ok!

sorry to hear that man. Hope everything gets fixed up.

legally drunk is .08, he was twice that. I believe he would be at fault.

when I wrecked my E30, my hands broke off both the wiper and cruise stalks from the column. my right hand had w deep bruise for about 2 weeks.

The cross my chest seat belt hurt way more than anything...it still hurts a bit. It felt like I got an elbow Superfly style in the sternum.
