All you guys with Azenis - mrbaggio - 03-16-2004 How do they do in the rain? Is there a lot of tire noise as a daily driver? Where did you get them? - .RJ - 03-16-2004 Great in the rain as long as you steer clear of standing water. They sound like a goddamn freight train. When they are new. It gets worse. I buy them used, but discounttiredirect.com and vulcantire.com and philstireservice.com all carry them. Re: All you guys with Azenis - Sijray21 - 03-16-2004 mrbaggio Wrote:How do they do in the rain? I've only driven them in the rain a few times, i just got them. I don't really push it in the rain. I don't notice the noise actually, but then again my exhaust and stereo pretty much drown out everything. I got mine from tires.com, but you can find them cheaper elsewhere, free shipping though. - BLINGMW - 03-16-2004 still waiting for mine... but I got 'em from Sears! Avoids shipping, and they'll price match what you find online. Tax may kill some of that though. But they mount/balance for $10something/tire, seems like a good way to get it all done. We'll see if they ever show up! :?
- Kaan - 03-16-2004 i dont mind the road noise... course i cant hear it over the fart can out back... they do ok in the rain. i run mine the time on the street except for in the snowy months. - Evan - 03-16-2004 Noise has never bothered me (never even noticed it) They do fine in the rain as long as there is tread on the tire - Mike - 03-16-2004 I too have not noticed any noise, and they are crazy grippy in the rain today. I hear you ought to stay out of big puddles though. Semi-Hijack: My new muffler goes on tomorrow at 1:30, get excited people! Maybe then I'll notice tire noise. I really think RJ is just a big pussy though. That or his car is too quiet. - Chris - 03-16-2004 .RJ Wrote:Great in the rain as long as you steer clear of standing water. So thats why you purposely hit those huge puddles on the way to Slummit ? haha - .RJ - 03-16-2004 Chris Wrote:So thats why you purposely hit those huge puddles on the way to Slummit ? haha I have no idea what you are talking aboot
