Any Mountain Bikers in H'burg? - PDenbigh - 04-05-2005 The nice weather has given me the urge to get back out on the bike after a 2-year hiatus. As such, I'm going to be slow and out of shape! Anyone in Harrisonburg looking to hit some trails this season? If you're already in outstanding shape you need not respond ;-). - Evan - 04-05-2005 Im slow and out of shape, but I miss riding in the 'burg! Pete I would definately be up making the trip down for a saturday or sunday ride. any trails you have in mind? - .RJ - 04-05-2005 w@@t - ScottyB - 04-05-2005 i'm there man. i'm slow and out of shape too! - PDenbigh - 04-05-2005 Out torward Reddish there are some outstanding trails. Mud Pond, Boyscout, New/Old long run, and a bunch of others that I don't know the names of or that I don't know the presence of. Maybe after CMP we can get this going? Until then I have engines to install (2) and brakes to fix (4 total, 1 car), turbo to reinstall, yada yada. Who else is up for it? - BLAIR - 04-05-2005 im really trying to get back into mountain biking... use to be hard core about 4 years ago..and in WAY better shape. but i got a nice bike that needs use..been telling myself the past 2 years im going to get back into it. but as it is now i dont even think i could ride up a hill without stoping for a break... - Evan - 04-05-2005 mmm.....boyscout, one of my faves. maybe Long Run when Im in better shape, that would kick my ass beyond belief right now! - Mike - 04-05-2005 hehe beginners are gonna be hurtin' after those rides i'd recommend the rock garden to get in a little shape and practice your technical skills. either way, pacec dictates how tough it'll be, i suppose if you take your time those rides won't be too tough

I haven't been really serious about it for a few years but it would be nice to get back into it. Biking! - ScottyB - 04-06-2005 PDenbigh Wrote:Back on track - Post if you are interested in real Mt. Biking! do you think we could fit a ride in before mid-may? |
