Joseph Winn - Fortyseven - 08-01-2016 Hey, names Joseph. I'm a rising Junior majoring in engineering and minoring in robotics, computer science, mathematics and business. I love cars, and I like working on them even more. I haven't been really all that active into cars for the last few years but I find myself getting back into them. Not really a super social person but I'm considering joining the club this semester. My favorite cars are Mustangs and Jeep Cherokees. I have had both at one point, started out with a black V6 '99 Mustang, sold to buy a black '01 Cobra, sold to buy a black '03-'04 Terminator but the deal fell through and I lost interest in cars after that. Jeep I still have but I took it apart to rebuild and never finished putting it back together, it was white, painted it black. I also have a black '99 Dodge Dakota, my first car. Crashed it, totaling it one very rainy day and let it sit behind the house for 5 years but I'm fixing it up right now and it's about finished, plan to drive it this semester. Currently DD is a black '00 Ford Excursion, dads but he never uses it so I took it, cleaning it up too. Recently sold my DD of 4 years, a blue '99 Lincoln Continental. My favorite color as you can guess is black, probably why I hated the Lincoln so much. My future plans includes: Getting my Dakota back on the road in time for next semester Rx7 LT1 swap, have the engine, have the body, need the time. Finishing my Jeep Cherokee frame build, bit off more than I could chew and project stalled CNC Plasma table - want to finish this as it will speed up my work on the Rx7 and especially the Jeep. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Some random stuff I built: ![]() ![]()

It's a yfz450 - stroked and bored IIRC, exhaust, armor, bumpers, nerfbars etc., in highschool I'd ride it practically every weekend with friends or even just by myself since Taskers Gap offroad trail is right down the road from me, but my friends stopped riding and it got really boring going by myself so it has sat parked now for a couple years. I'm sure the battery is dead on it at this point and the funny thing is I know I purchased and installed a brand new battery for it right before I parked it. Yep yep, here's some more guns. I just bought the Rem 700 when the photo was taken so it doesn't even have a scope installed on it yet. Oh and another pic of my Jeep... I miss it :\ really need to put it back together. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I don't actually use the rifles on that range, it's set up for pistol, a rifle at that range offers no challenge and the high powered rounds would punch holes through my target plates anyways. Re: Joseph Winn - ScottyB - 08-03-2016 welcome! you'll fit right in here  Re: Joseph Winn - *insertusernamehere* - 08-03-2016 Oh wow hello didn't even see this thread haha. Welcome! Cool things. Joseph Winn - EclipseTurbno93 - 08-03-2016 Welcome to the club! Always good to see more engineers, we're not-so-subtly taking over the club (Sorry alums...) Looks like some fun projects, see you in the fall! |
