Photoshoot - ispoonwithmugen - 02-24-2014 I guarantee that grabbed a bunch of your attention right away. I noticed on the cruise that a lot of you were wanting photos. Unfortunately that wasn't possible because you couldn't drive next to me (legally). I was thinking on the next warm day we could take 33E so that it stays 2 lanes and I can snap a bunch of photos of different peoples cars. Maybe Taylor could drive and I be in the back. No mountain driving or anything just some nice rolling shots of your car and if we find a cool spot you can hard park it. Would this interest anyone? Re: Photoshoot - rherold9 - 02-24-2014 I'd be interested. My car isn't as much as a beauty as others but I just wanna drive haha Re: Photoshoot - Senor_Taylor - 02-24-2014 Yeah, I'm definitely down to be a camera truck
Re: Photoshoot - ispoonwithmugen - 02-24-2014  Re: Photoshoot - Senor_Taylor - 02-24-2014 Maybe someone can let me borrow some running water so I can get this oil out of the bed before you ruin your pants by sitting in it... Re: Photoshoot - *insertusernamehere* - 02-24-2014 Does the oil dirt absorbent stuff not work? Re: Photoshoot - RawrImAMonster - 02-24-2014 I would recommend taking 42 north out of Harrisonburg rather than 33 east. There arent any stoplights on 42 until you get to the next town. 33 East has a ton of them. Way less traffic on 42 as well. Also there are a bunch of fun back roads between 42 and 11. In short 42 is much better for taking rolling shots than 33. 42 is where this picture of chads old car came from.
Re: Photoshoot - SlimKlim - 02-24-2014 You could also, you know, just sit in a passenger seat. :-p This one that I posted in the calendar thread was taken by a friend of mine hanging out of an NSX on Rt. 28. Probably not the most comfortable position, but it's gotta better than sitting in the back of a pickup truck at highway speeds. ![]() I was going to go take some nice updated photos of the car on Saturday but I forgot about it, and yesterday I figured I might as well wait until I can find a replacement rear diffuser... Re: Photoshoot - Senor_Taylor - 02-24-2014 *insertusernamehere* Wrote:Does the oil dirt absorbent stuff not work? It's too thin and worn down. It's not enough there to "wipe" up, but enough for the smell to be bad. Re: Photoshoot - Senor_Taylor - 02-24-2014 SlimKlim Wrote:You could also, you know, just sit in a passenger seat. :-pIt's not that bad. If you sit with your back on my toolbox, which is preferred, there's no wind buffer. Maybe something soft to sit on so you don't break your ass on a bump. Re: Photoshoot - Jake - 02-24-2014 +1 to to the 42 suggestion. Great, great roads back there. Re: Photoshoot - ispoonwithmugen - 02-24-2014 I haven't been on 42 so I'm fair game. And I've shot plenty of times out of the passenger seat. Hell I was hanging out of Nathan's sunroof trying to snap pictures of you guys this past weekend. Re: Photoshoot - nismosam - 03-23-2014 We should do this shoot soon! We might could do it this weekend if it doesn't rain Re: Photoshoot - ispoonwithmugen - 03-24-2014 I'd be down man! You just have to let me know a time and a place! Re: Photoshoot - Senor_Taylor - 03-24-2014 These pictures would be pretty cool in some kind of collection of photos that also have the days of the month. If only there was something like that. |
