VIR July 19-21 - Maengelito - 07-02-2013

NASA's next event at VIR will also host GRM's Ultimate Track Car Challenge. Who all is going?

I'm in for instructing, I think. I'm not sure what my schedule will be like because I will be getting in from Vegas at 10:30pm Friday night into Richmond. As of now, I think I'm going to get up way early and drive down Saturday morning.

I leave you with a really sad note though. Oak Tree is no longer. Sad

Why am I hundreds of miles away in NJ Sad relocating soon, aka i'll be insanely closer to JMU. Nova, Summit, VIR etc. etc. Smile plus my barely 1 year old leased pASSat with 17k on her isn't too fond of all this mileage.

Our whole family will be there, as will the XR (!) Also, a couple of buddies finally caved to my pestering and are bringing their new Mustangs...one of which is a modified, ~800chp Shelby GT500 with the FRP suspension. A neighbor of mine will also be HPDE 1 with his new (To him) RX8. I feel like a crack dealer.

Garrett, we're leaving from Staunton, but I'm not sure you want to try to squeeze in the F150 with two other adults, a toddler, and a dog that hates car rides... Your call though! We'll leave around 2-3 on Friday.

Also should I post on the NASA forums? I don't want to step on people's toes if they are trying to make money. If I did post would it be real bad if I said donations are welcome?

Chris Schutze from Finish Line Productions posted up some quick previews. I had another good time. Unfortunately my field was a bit light, but cannot complain about another 2 1st places and locking up the regional championship.

Great to see Pete Denbigh out there (and for the most part running Wink ). Luckily Mike and Jake helped me load up my trailer right before the massive rainstorm hit hard. Car didnt really have any issues aside from losing a dive plane while I was an evaluator for comp school (fell off, didnt hit anything). I
