I thought we determined through our exacting research that there are in fact only 6 keg shells in harrisonburg and NO ONE has payed for the one they are in possession of.

Yeah people steal those all the time. We had three at our apt, one was Pauls, one I returned and got my money back, and for the life of me could never track down where our third one went. I think that one got stolen, it harbored our "bad beer" for one party when we had accidently left it out in the sun. People who didnt know us or "knew better" used it :lol:

Well I know this is going to come as no surprise to all who have paid attention to the club this year, but this car show that was supposed to be filled with surprises, was about as vanilla mediocre as possible. It was NOT a terrible car show. But for all the promises that were given to current students and alumni, this was kind of a let down. Yes there was a BRZ. That was awesome. But Subaru of America was only there for 2 hours, because they had other things that were previously scheduled. Perhaps if one of the officers had contacted Scott Powell at Bob Wade early this year, as suggested this wouldn't have happened. No food was available because of a breakdown of communication between officers. I think the really sad part of all of this, is instead of this being the BIG EVENT, it turned into this years officers basically saying fuck yeah, we are done. Really sad. Best part of the day, was when Rex went and got Jake and they found the DJ and Jake started making announcements so that people knew what was going on. Cody, btw, was over with the Red Bull stuff and wasn't available to the club at this time. Or maybe better yet, was the winners of this years car show, got an awesome authentic MM T-shirt and sticker. Awesome, just what I'd want if I won a car show. Lame. And I know that you officers do not give a shit what I have to say. Individually I really like some of you guys, but as a team, you haven't been one. You know this though, and I won't point fingers because you have like 3 weeks left of school this year, and you could give a shit. But it is sad to see you all caring so little for this club.

Julie pretty much says it better than I ever could. I could rant but I don't have the energy and none of you would care.
I gave up and left when you couldn't pull off grilling. In that past that has been a good way to get people to stick around the show and we've been able to accept donations and get some money out of it. That is, after all, the point. I can't even sum up how disappointing this year has been, I just hope there's something left of the club to get it on it's feet next year.

Solid meh of a show. Julie said it best. Mega thanks to Dan for his half-panel detail (more soon!) and to those who came on the 33 cruise. Which, I will point out, I organized.
And props to Jon Polen, who opened his house to everyone after the show. The burgers that MM paid for and couldn't grill at the show sure were tasty.
I'm being salty and a dick and I don't care. Y'all got people in a parking lot, and missed the details. Better luck next year under new leadership. I had fun regardless, with the MMers who give a shit.

I would like you say, I had a great time yesterday. Car show was nice to see old friends, and start connecting names with faces of current students. Cruise up 33 was a lot of fun, even if it was mostly alumni, and we might have trouble following the leader. Big thanks to Jon Polen and Dan Kastner to stepped up big time this week, with getting the generator for the DJ, and Jon opening his house to us to grill and shoot the shit. Like I said, not a total loss,but had some serious issues. But.... stay tuned boys and girls. While on the cruise yesterday, we all had a nice chat and some things are already getting prepared for next school year, and I think we are going to see some fun times.

I'm just glad the show is over and we can start to rebuild. Car show went exactly like the club has gone all year: President was MIA, officers were bitchin' at each other and the alumni took up the CONSIDERABLE slack. Theme of the entire day was "where's the officers?", which is pretty much the theme of the entire year.
Pretty sweet cars though! Looking forward to organize something much bigger (and efficient) next year.
