Re: Electile Dysfunction (Current students plz look!) - Senor_Taylor - 11-08-2016 Predictions on how long this thread drags on after the election? 1 week active posts. 2 weeks before posts are more than a day apart. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk Re: Electile Dysfunction (Current students plz look!) - rherold9 - 11-08-2016 I really don't want to vote for any of these people but I am convincing myself to vote like every other American. Vote because they aren't the other candidate as people will just say "If you don't vote you can't say anything or complain".... I don't know if I really want to do it or not. Mostly it doesn't matter nationally with the electoral college but maybe I should vote for local/congress. :dunno: Edit: Not Senate but House Re: Electile Dysfunction (Current students plz look!) - Ken - 11-08-2016 rherold9 Wrote:I really don't want to vote for any of these people but I am convincing myself to vote like every other American. I guess it's up there but not the biggest swing state. Not too worried about it anyways and don't really want to vote based off of this candidate isn't that one... Florida D+0.7 17.6% Pennsylvania D+3.7 12.3% Michigan D+4.2 11.7% North Carolina D+0.7 11.2% Virginia D+5.6 6.0% Re: Electile Dysfunction (Current students plz look!) - CaptainHenreh - 11-08-2016 rherold9 Wrote:I really don't want to vote for any of these people but I am convincing myself to vote like every other American. The two constitutional amendments (state) are pretty important and we've got a congressman up as well. You get to pick Bob Goodlatte who has been a congressman for a goddam eternity (eternity being 1993) or Kai Degner who is a Duke (isat) And a realtor? And German? :dunno: I dunno, it's kind of important, I guess. I get to vote for House though, Mayor of Richmond, and some members for city council/school board. Edit: Looks like that is a different district of the House than where I am. So, I have two different people. Well if you lean left, be sure to vote for Charlie Diadour for Richmond City Council. He's a good dude, and a NASA racer. Re: Electile Dysfunction (Current students plz look!) - Senor_Taylor - 11-08-2016 My absentee ballot had only the president and the 2 amendments on it. :/ Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk Re: Electile Dysfunction (Current students plz look!) - JPolen01 - 11-08-2016 Senor_Taylor Wrote:My absentee ballot had only the president and the 2 amendments on it. :/Not to worry, they will still be counting the absentee ballots days after the election so yours won't really matter. Re: Electile Dysfunction (Current students plz look!) - Senor_Taylor - 11-08-2016 I'm used to not mattering. It's okay. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk Re: Electile Dysfunction (Current students plz look!) - V1GiLaNtE - 11-08-2016 The constitutional amendments were interesting. I had to do some research on those before the polls this morning. Meals tax was another pretty important issue that would impact the Fairfax area. I only got one choice for the house. Yeah, I was a little bummed to not have any "local" issues to vote on (not even the meals tax thing, as I'm City of Alexandria, not Fairfax County). Just had the Pres/VP, House, and two amendments to the state constitution. Thankfully I had some time to read up on them in more detail - the first one in particular (about union stuff) was worded in a pretty confusing way at first glance. Re: Electile Dysfunction (Current students plz look!) - WRXtranceformed - 11-08-2016 I trolled NC one last time and voted across the board for all of the proposed expenditures that I won't have to pay for (couldn't register in SC 30 days before general election but was still registered and had a residence in NC) Re: Electile Dysfunction (Current students plz look!) - rherold9 - 11-09-2016 Everyone looking forward to having a temperamental oompa loompa in office the next 4 years? Who speaks on the reading level of a 4 year old? Something about the way he talks instantly pisses me off. At least I feel like I made difference voting and educating myself about local things. I didn't vote D or R this election. Just couldn't do it. Probably the shittiest election a first time voter could have. Re: Electile Dysfunction (Current students plz look!) - BLINGMW - 11-09-2016
Re: Electile Dysfunction (Current students plz look!) - WRXtranceformed - 11-09-2016 Something Rexy liked on Facebook came up in my feed that's accurate Quote:Trump is the natural result of the left's highly politically correct, anti-white, anti-male and anti- American rhetoric.
