Meh.Better than a BMW last owned by Katie at Alpha Delta Phi who traded it in because daddy loves her and all the other sisters drive Range Rovers. Katie has to keep up appearances or she will never find a good guy. Large difference between driving something that feels fat, unwieldy and soft (not the good kind either); and something that drives well. I never said buy a corvette, I just said : "Dont buy a GTO". But then again he thought maybe a Mach 1 Mustang, so maybe he lost his mind  Re: Spend Jake's Money. - ViPER1313 - 10-03-2016 I really want to think this is not a scam - <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/doc/cto/5803203484.html">http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/doc/ ... 03484.html</a><!-- m --> Re: Spend Jake's Money. - Goodspeed - 10-03-2016 ViPER1313 Wrote:I really want to think this is not a scam - <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/doc/cto/5803203484.html">http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/doc/ ... 03484.html</a><!-- m --> I doubt it is. I sat in a slightly newer model (2006?) at Carmax over the weekend and I couldn't get into it. Would have to have a 2011+ to be happy. Also drove a 2005 Boxster and holy yes, I want. But I don't want the pre-05 interior and it sounds like I'd want an 08+ for reliability sake, so that'll have to be a "next-next" car. I'm allegedly going to look at a GTO tonight. They are big mamas of cars though, longer than an E39 BMW by a few inches. Still kinda feel like an E46 is the droid I'm looking for, but this has been a fun experience so far. Re: Spend Jake's Money. - davej - 10-03-2016 did you go look at that 330ci from page 7? You know, the one that was exactly what you said you wanted? It even had more ponies. Re: Spend Jake's Money. - Jake - 10-03-2016 davej Wrote:did you go look at that 330ci from page 7? You know, the one that was exactly what you said you wanted? Also, I bailed on the GTO. The thought of driving to Manassas to test drive something that looked like a bloated Cavalier, with the brand stigma of "hold my beer and watch this" killed it for me, especially after I saw a guy in a dark gray on red E46 M3 'vert on 395 as I drove home. Re: Spend Jake's Money. - V1GiLaNtE - 10-04-2016 Any reason other than "because manuel" that one would buy a 6spd M3 over the SMG flappy paddles? |
