So the steering wheel starts to shimmy when I get up to 70 mph. Tire pressure is fine.

CV boots? Anything else?

Front tires are out of balance.

yup. Feerst do you recall accidentally knocking any weights off the wheels when doing your brake install? they're only held on by adhesive and can come off

I wanna lower it real bad, but I think I am going to pay off the loan first.

I got the 60,000 mile service done yesterday along with an oil change. My buddy from college that works at Sheehy Ford hooked me up. Thanks Scott! I also have an oil pan gasket leak. He said I should just keep an eye on it, but said eventually it will need to be replaced. Anyone know if that is covered under warranty or not?

- PDenbigh - 01-16-2007

My advice would be to ask that question to Sheehy.

- D_Eclipse9916 - 01-16-2007

should be warrantied. I would assume, if not, it takes 20 minutes to take it off, put on a new one.

OH yeah I got the wheels balanced again last week, and had a bent rim, that still holds air. That wheel was moved to the rear, so I got a tire rotation out it as well.

Looking into addressing this oil pan gasket if it gets worse.

Dude, you bend rims looking at them crosseyed. What gives? You drive on some crazy bumpy roads or something?

Hopefully I can get this rear stress bar installed soon. I am thinking about a Predator tune and possibly the Ford Racing/Multimatic kit that is used in NASAs Spec Focus series.

i've heard the multimatic can take a serious beating and will probably lower you another 1" over SVT suspension IIRC. if they can run it and do well as a spec suspension, i'd trust it. hell of a good price too.

have you looked into a rear sway bar?

also, i would think that the tune would come as a mod to "button everything up" when you're totally done with bolt ons. why not go with an intake or mild exhaust and get more power for the money?

Why? You don't track the car, you drive it on the street, NOVA streets for that matter. ANY racing suspension is going to give you a VERY rough ride, some people deal with it b/c they track their cars as well, but that kind of suspension on a Daily Driver with no on-track reward is going to be miserable, and don't say you like to take it on country back roads, country back roads require a completely different suspension than a glass smooth track does. Hell, I'm building 2 suspension for the AI car, one for Summit Pt and one for VIR.
