Played multiplayer last night and loved it
Likes
-much faster kill times
-with built-in sprint the field of play really expands. No long trudges back to the action. You can even equip unlimited sprint
-insta-respawn
-Having the weapons drop in instead of having people camping a respawn point for power weapons is WAY better. Now people have a lot more motivation to get into the action.
-people are able to join an already started match so you don't get screwed when someone quits
-most of the new maps work really well and look fantastic
-loading times have been cut down
Dislikes
-not all armor abilities and options are unlocked from the start
-DMR has been neutered a bit IMO
-no Headhunter gametype
-Dominion isn't as fun as Invasion was
One thing I'm not sure about, is the way you don't get knocked out of the scoped-in view when you get hit. It's fine most of the time but I've found that if I scope in with the magnum i can easily chew up anyone with a BR or DMR even at medium range.

One armor ability I haven't seen people use much is active camo. Maybe because people are so eager to just run up and start shooting.

Played one Spartan Ops mission and about an hour of multiplayer last night. I'm impressed. I still hate it because I suck, but I'm impressed.

First, its exactly the same as all the rest of the Halos. I can explain if you really want to know, but think "spray and pray" instead of accuracy.
Second, the campaign is seriously WTF is going on, I am confused out of my mind for someone that doesnt follow Halo at all. Leads to just "going through the paces" by playing instead of getting involved. Maybe I am stupid, maybe I am blind; I dont care. :lol: Its just not enjoyable.
ps- having the dog chewing on a squeaky toy through half the cut-scenes makes it harder to follow. Shouldnt have given her so many squeaky toys.

The story is rather confusing, even if you've played all of the Halo games. On top of that, all of radio speech in the game is kind of hard to understand. I think 343 may have done a little bit too much preaching to the choir in the campaign. It would've been better to explain a bit more.
