wha? is the lotus not satisfying to drive, or is it that you've kinda lived the dream (attainable supercar) and its time to move on?
the Z is on my "hopefully before I die" list. nice knowing if you buy a nice one you can pretty much make your money back when you sell it.

Its a great deal - problem is I would need to buy a truck / trailer if I got that (no way it would ever pass MD inspection...) meaning I would need to sell the Grand Prix and Talon to maintain enough space at my house. And a truck that gets 18mpg would suck for my 80 mile daily commute.... Sigh....

Why would it not pass MD inspection? What would it need? Only things I see are exhaust, seats and seat-belts. That would be easy enough to do for ONE time.

All of that, plus the airbag, and I'm pretty sure the roll cage + missing interior is an issue as well. I also don't know anything about how he did the engine swap, and 1996 Mustang's are OBD2, which could be a huge PITA.
Find a 1991 or before Fox body that is fully prepped, then I will be in business :thumbup:

Nice track-ready Miata for sale in New Jersey. It was sold locally, new owner gave the car a fresh coat of paint and some seats, but is now forced to sell and is asking $5K.

^ Nice. It'd be nice to be able to buy one all ready to go, but I gots rent and shiz and can't come up with 5k all at once. When its all said and done I'll probably end up with about that much in mine, but doing it this way is kind of like making payments, with more busted knuckles and a lot more love.
