- white_2kgt - 07-21-2004 Chris Wrote:If she is seriously interested, that would be awesome. Let me know and I can inform Laura we have a 3rd worker. yes she really is interested. we will be there friday night around 6-7 so if she is going to work T&S she might be able to do some stuff for registration on Friday, I'm not sure what time it closes. -c - .RJ - 07-21-2004 Plans changed a bit, I'll be leaving @ 10am friday - I am going to try to get down there and squeeze in a session or two for the open practice. - Feersty - 07-21-2004 Do y'all take leave every race weekend, just curious? I am taking some on Monday 2 August, cause waking up at 6 am would be the worst. - ScottyB - 07-22-2004 what do you mean by take leave....like leaving on a friday? if so, im sure most people at least leave work early, it pays to be able to set up your shizzle at the track and what not. - Sijray21 - 07-22-2004 not everyone has a gov't job or a strict schedule. I had an option to have an AWS (Alternate Work Schedule) where i could work 10 hours/day and get off every friday, monday, or anyother day i wanted to each week. I'm taking off Friday the 30th so i can get up there in time for registration, but heading back i'm driving straight back so i can wake up at 6am on Monday... - .RJ - 07-22-2004 Feersty Wrote:Do y'all take leave every race weekend, just curious? I'm usually able to duck out early on fridays, but I'm back @ work 6:30am mondays. - Evan - 07-22-2004 Feersty Wrote:Do y'all take leave every race weekend, just curious? I don't have the ability of some members to sign off my student solo *cough RJ cough* and then leave 3/4 through the day on Sunday. Being a chief and also usually carpooling with the other chiefs I'm helping Cobetto pack up at the end of an event and therefore am usually one of the last to leave the track. This makes for a 3-4am arrival time back in NoVA so I take the Monday morning off, or just "work" from home. Pretty much all other events, leave a lil early from work on Friday, back at work Mon morning. Oh and FYI Chad, from what I've been told they've got all the help they need in T&S. So if Christina's gonna work it's gonna be a corner station, helping out in Registration/Tech, or working Grid. If Grid's her choice, then swimwear is appropriate. - white_2kgt - 07-22-2004 Dragon Wrote:Oh and FYI Chad, from what I've been told they've got all the help they need in T&S. Just let me know if she has a spot for sure or not.I work a AWS. So Friday will be off for me and 1/2 day for christina I'm picking her up on my way down 66. Monday morning will probably be a 'late' one . Working w/ govies is great. They don't give a crap when we show up.-c - Dragon - 07-22-2004 If Chris puts her on the list to Laura she's got a spot, and I'm sure we can all find somewhere to stick her. - Evan - 07-22-2004 Dragon Wrote:I'm sure we can all find somewhere to stick her. hock:
- Chris - 07-22-2004 I told Laura she can help, so I'll let you know where she will be working asap. thanks a lot! - Sijray21 - 07-22-2004 Evan Wrote:Dragon Wrote:I'm sure we can all find somewhere to stick her. rofl!! - white_2kgt - 07-22-2004 theguywiththeSi Wrote:Evan Wrote:Dragon Wrote:I'm sure we can all find somewhere to stick her. :x None of that shit this weekend or she will never come again! -c - Dragon - 07-22-2004 white_2kgt Wrote::evil: :x None of that shit this weekend or she will never come again! How bout next weekend, since that's when the event is? - Kaan - 07-22-2004 Chad you know we are good holesome boys.... she'll stick around! i mean hell evans old lady tolerates us in a liberal sort of way! - white_2kgt - 07-22-2004 Dragon Wrote:white_2kgt Wrote::evil: :x None of that shit this weekend or she will never come again! How bout next weekend, since that's when the event is? how about either weekend! Kaan its not you I'm worried about... -c - .RJ - 07-22-2004 Kaan really ought to have a muzzle anyways... or just keep him away from a bullhorn
- Evan - 07-23-2004 hrm, I suppose I should register soon... - Feersty - 07-23-2004 Was your girlfriend working at the track as well? That would suck if you didn't get a spot and she was obliged to work. |
