We rode pace for Autobaun race and talked to a few people. We have decided not to go to Raddy's homecoming in order to go to the track. So we'll be seeing you all in October. - bimmerboodle - 08-28-2006 Jewels Wrote:Rex and I were glad we came out for a little while at least. We rode pace for Autobaun race and talked to a few people. Welcome to your late 20's, the doorstep to 30. If anything, you're the chump for living in a college-like house as you're approaching 30. Chump.
- Kaan - 08-28-2006 watch your language P-car boy! I'm 27 and i live in that house too! would you like to pass and impound you have in your 944? ever again? it might be hard to beleive but you might come up "light" every weekend...
- Dragon - 08-28-2006 Apoc Wrote:If anything, you're the chump for living in a college-like house as you're approaching 30. Chump. How is living in a house with 3 friends chump-like? I don't see how it's "college-like" either. - Apoc - 08-28-2006 Kaan Wrote:it might be hard to beleive but you might come up "light" every weekend... It doesn't matter if I don't podium... which I haven't mananged to do 5 of the last 6 races. :? Dragon Wrote:How is living in a house with 3 friends chump-like? Exactly the same way being married is... imaginary for the sake of hateration. - BLINGMW - 08-28-2006 Apoc Wrote:If anything, you're the chump for living in a college-like house as you're approaching 30. Chump. I'm 28, married, living in my parents' basement, and posting on a "college club" forum, so.... I'm cool right? Great weekend for me as well. Good weather, no car problems, a few fun offs. Found a 325e to play with in my group, a real cool guy who was gearing up for SpecE30, we had a blast despite probably being the two slowest cars in the group. Didn't know people could ride along in HPDE3 now, so I took full advantage of that sunday. Sunday afternoon I showed Chapin the airborne, hit your head on the ceiling, fun through the gravel "line" at the top of 3, and my lack-of-skill, no-ABS braking down from 95MPH into 5... er... sometimes into the grass method. Grass was wet and track surface was damp in spots sunday morning, so sorry I was too chicken to give you the same death-ride Pete! (although we did get to watch a mustang drop a wheel into a lake on the entry of 3, drenching us and the track and proceed to spin into the gravel in front of us-- fun!) Thanks to those that worked the weekend! MM in grid, tower, tech, and VA Tech guys in various spots and stuck on corners as well! - Dragon - 08-28-2006 Apoc Wrote:Never said being married was chump-like. Just cause others aren't ready for it doesn't mean that being married makes you a chump. Just like three good friends who aren't ready for marriage living together isn't chump-like.Dragon Wrote:How is living in a house with 3 friends chump-like? - Kaan - 08-28-2006 ha i'm ready for it... i just cant find a woman that can tolerate me... where is my bullhorn? - Apoc - 08-28-2006 Dragon Wrote:Apoc Wrote:Never said being married was chump-like. I was returning Evan's hate. - Kaan - 08-28-2006 i'm glad everyone sprinkled a little hater-ade in their coffee this morning. Its been helping me get through the day... 2 hours and i go home!
- Apoc - 08-28-2006 I had a teatnus shot this morning. I think they had some hate juice mixed in. - Maengelito - 08-28-2006 Evan Wrote:Maengelito Wrote:i asked alex ratcliffe (king rat motorsports) for some miata rotors. And thats nothing compared to what Gerry Chan fits in his caged car. - .RJ - 08-28-2006 Dr Chan is hilarious... Maeng, just get a tire trailer so you can get off of those stupid street tires and bring big blue to the track
