Re: March 21-23: NASA at VIR - JustinG - 03-19-2014 I assumed that was implied....im not surprised though. Re: March 21-23: NASA at VIR - Maengelito - 03-19-2014 So just a quick update on the MM catering situation: frozen burgers/buns: Brian/Jake hot dogs/buns: Justin/Casey beer: Brian (case of Bud Light), Jake (case of Bud Light) Justin? anyone else? (we'll probably need some non-BL) propane: Justin cooking utensils: are they still in the trailer? DJ, do you mind giving them a quick scrub? sides: Rex/Julie - some sort of side? Anyone else? condiments: ? Am I missing anything else? We could probably use some non-beer refreshments. Can one of you students pick up a case of bottled water? And we'll probably need another side or two. Re: March 21-23: NASA at VIR - D_Eclipse9916 - 03-19-2014 Cooking utensils are in the trailer still. As well as Pots/Pans/portable stove/Coffee maker/grill, and some other cooking stuff. I will clean off the pots/pans/utensils. I will be bringing some beer as well. If Justin has propane taking care of, I will get some more food. Re: March 21-23: NASA at VIR - Maengelito - 03-19-2014 D_Eclipse9916 Wrote:Cooking utensils are in the trailer still. Who's been Top Chef-ing it in your trailer? Re: March 21-23: NASA at VIR - D_Eclipse9916 - 03-19-2014 Maengelito Wrote:D_Eclipse9916 Wrote:Cooking utensils are in the trailer still. Re: March 21-23: NASA at VIR - premiershine9 - 03-19-2014 Still planning on coming down Friday night- possibly leaving Saturday night, anyone have an open floor that I could crash on? Also- let me know if I need to chip in/ bring any foodz or beer Re: March 21-23: NASA at VIR - Senor_Taylor - 03-19-2014 Someone remind me and I'll pick up a few cases of water. Should I buy them once I get there? Not sure if I'll have a chance before Friday, being a freshmen on campus an all... Re: March 21-23: NASA at VIR - Senor_Taylor - 03-19-2014 Alright. Can I hop in with someone heading down on friday when you pass through Harrisonburg? I like convoys and it'd be nice since I've never been. Sent from my SCH-R530U using Tapatalk Re: March 21-23: NASA at VIR - JustinG - 03-19-2014 I'm bringing some cider for the Wife. Otherwise I was planning on drinking NASA/everyone else's beer. There aren't needles in my backseat so you can sit there if you want. You can beg someone to drive you back on Sunday but I'm leaving Saturday night. Actually my friend coming is shorter than you so he can sit in the backseat. Re: March 21-23: NASA at VIR - Sully - 03-19-2014 Think he wants people to drive with like next which is why he said convoy Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk Re: March 21-23: NASA at VIR - *insertusernamehere* - 03-19-2014 Ooohh as in "hop in" the convoy...wow so much for taking english class all these years, pardon my stupidity. I thought he meant hop in someones car ha  Re: March 21-23: NASA at VIR - Senor_Taylor - 03-20-2014 Nah man, I'm still driving with you as along as we leave around 4 to 6. I just want to get a larger group. I hate showing up then trying to figure out where everyone is. Haha, looks like we're going right through Lynchburg to get there. Funny thing is, my buddy is driving from Lynchburg to meet me here... just to ride back down. I am grabbing her an Angry Orchard sampler pack (I am a big fan of the OG and Traditional dry) or some Bold Rock. If you havent tried Ace pear cider, I would recommend it. I'm not really a big fan of cider but I do love me some Bold Rock. They're building a new facility out in Nelson County, near Devils Backbone and Wintergreen. Albemarle Ciderworks is also about 10 min south of Charlottesville (across 29 from Dr. Ho's) and has some good dry ciders. They both make some really great not overly sweet ciders. Enter VIR, follow the road all the way to the paddock and look for familiar MM cars/faces near the tech shed. You can't miss it. DJ and I will be parked next to each other (or very nearby) up at the front of the paddock, near the grid and big barn-looking classroom building. He is towing with a white GMC 2500 pickup and I am towing with a dark blue Grand Cherokee. Just look for the trucks and cars behind them
Re: March 21-23: NASA at VIR - *insertusernamehere* - 03-20-2014 Lol we'll be aaiiiiiggghhtt. We'll be tired and lost but i don't mind being lost at a racetrack and what's life without a little adventure ;-) haha |
