Well, the mossberg 500, while an excellent pump action shotgun, is literally almost the cheapest shotgun you can buy. Buy once, cry once.

Lee, if that girl was too dumb to break off the engagement, then that is her loss. Do you really want her dictating a car purchase anyway? That is what happens, you have to decide on the big purchases together, and if you want the Corvette, then you should get it. I remember when I was looking at your WRX, you were talking Corvette back then. Might as well take care of your life's dream right now. All wives do is kill auto enthusiast fervor. Believe me, I know.

Lawl. Bumping old threads for no reason and then not reading the new thread completely before posting

We're all friends her, JULIE, why must you stoop so low to name calling? You have no idea about what happened to me last year.

Who are you? I don't even know who you are. I did read the whole thread. Nice try. I can quote too:

WRXtranceformed Wrote:Long story short, Mustang sale was for nought. Proposal is off indefinitely. I have 10Gs to spend (assuming I can sell back the ring) and a massive hole in my heart.

I am thinking dump the caddy and finally pick up my C6 / C6 Z06 to fulfill my early life crisis. Thoughts on either as a daily driver?? They honestly would probably get better gas mileage than this thing (18/22 from what I am seeing...26 at absolute best all highway driving).

Obviously there would be a hit in the comfort factor, but I feel like I would get over it real quick with 400+hp

Yeah, both of these are true because you pop up like some perverse internet forum easter bunny to shit up some threads and disappear for months at a time. C'mon man, did you even read what you wrote? Stop 'helping'.

It's not like one day everyone decided to jump on your shit. But I can't remember the last post of yours that actually made good sense, and when was the last time you replied to something that wasn't at least 2 weeks old? If you're going to participate, then participate. If not, then fine, but don't expect the people who are here all the time not to jump your shit for it, and the absurd things you say.

(Hint: Julie "stooped so low to name calling" because YOU called HER an automotive succubus. Or you WOULD have, if you knew how to use a thesaurus.)

Isn't it an internet law that every forum needs a troll? At least ours lives halfway across the country. :dunno:

Re: Project DD: 2008 Cadillac CTS 3.6 DI - WRXtranceformed - 04-12-2012

Rob, my ex girlfriend had absolutely no part in any decision I made to purchase a vehicle. I sold my Mustang to pay for a nicer ring for her, we broke up, now that money is free for other things. You read into it wrong bud.

I mean really, I wouldn't let a girl dictate what I am buying with my money...whether she has a ring on her finger or not Tongue

Anyway, since the Vette scenario is making less sense due to the low trade in offers for my car, I sent a pricing request out for a phenolic intake spacer (apparently makes a huge difference on these cars), ported throttle body, also considering some reummz and a Magnaflow exhaust. Everything can be pulled off and sold pretty easily (other than the TB because i have to send back the core) whenever I decide to sell this car. Should make it a bit more enjoyable and fix the sponginess of the throttle and lack of low-range grunt.
