I think the problem is that we're out of PBR... - Nis01 - 05-16-2008 I agree with them being out of focus, but I'm quite impressed with the lack of noise at that ISO. Perhaps its partly due to the background and lack of sharpness but thats quite impressive. Nice choice on camera. I've been looking into upgrading myself, but I think I'm going to hold out for some nicer glass in the meantime. PBR fixes all. - Evan - 05-16-2008 the low noise is nice, but the white balance seems orangy to me. - .RJ - 05-16-2008 Probably operator error
- Evan - 05-16-2008 yeah i get the same thing on low light indoor shots sometimes. how is white balance manually adjusted? i thought it was a camera thing - .RJ - 05-16-2008 There's various WB settings, and I can set it to a specific color temp as well, but fluorescent light is such a crapshoot. Probably better to shoot RAW indoors. - Apoc - 05-16-2008 .RJ Wrote:Probably better to shoot RAW indoors. You and your RAW.... get it right the first time! Use incandescent to remove the orange of interior lights. Fluorescent is really only office/warehouse style uber-lighting. - .RJ - 05-16-2008 I think I meant incandescent... but said fluorescent. Shiny new thing!
