Sweet, I think I have everything I need. I'll hit you up hopefully at some point ^_^

- D_Eclipse9916 - 05-14-2007

lol HIDs, they look good, I am almost sad now that I sold them to you.

- Feersty - 05-14-2007

- ScottyB - 05-22-2007

bars

- WRXtranceformed - 05-22-2007

DSM Link + dyno tune

- Nis01 - 05-22-2007

Voted for Swaybars, amazing bang for the buck upgrade... you won't regret it.

- PDenbigh - 05-22-2007

Voted for Swaybars. One thing Chad did so well was get the handling of his car down great, then worked on power. His engine is still technically "stock" and he keeps up with the much higher HP AI cars out there.

- Dave - 05-22-2007

sway bars FTMFW

- JustinG - 05-22-2007

Sway bars are cheaper Smile

- BLINGMW - 05-22-2007

bah, swaybars suck, I prefer getting the work down with springs. I vote power then!

- D_Eclipse9916 - 05-22-2007

blah sway bars do so much for these cars....but so does dsmlink? Why couldnt you have done something simple, like new wheels or dsmlink, or HIDs or sway bars... How bout.......both?!! I love my sway bars, and I love my dsmlink, couldnt imagine life without them now that ive had them for a long time.

- JustinG - 05-22-2007

well im definitely getting both, im just asking which i should do first.

- JustinG - 05-24-2007

i need more votes people, its still 50/50

- Andy - 05-24-2007

DSMLink gives you more power but the question is, are you able to put the power that you have down to the ground now?

Get sways and brake less FTW.

- D_Eclipse9916 - 05-24-2007

hahahhaha Andy, he has a gsx, putting down the power is our job....

I vote dsmlink...just so you know whats better going on with your engine.

- JustinG - 05-25-2007

dsmlink.......300+hp.......sounding better everytime i say it Smile

Thats what I say every day... I need to get my freakin car together so I can make jokes about your relative lack of power considering your number of valves and superior head flow design.  Tongue

I say get the DSM link. You have AWD, so getting the power down is no issue...and who the fuck wants to make a DSM handle anyway!?!?! (I <3 DJ!)

- Mike - 05-27-2007

i vote dsm link first and then save for a reaaal suspension. no sense in spending money and time putting together a so-so package that you plan on replacing. start with some coilovers (or koni yellows w/ gc perches if they make them for your car), work out your spring rates, and THEN add sway bars.

- D_Eclipse9916 - 05-27-2007

Actually since he already has a comfortable spring/shock combo for daily use, a sway bar would be the way to go to increase his handling capabilities without destroying the ride.....

And Justin, you should be over 300whp without dsmlink, but barely. S-AFC tuning sucks with all of our timing advance maps. With dsmlink, itll honestly do three components better, instead of just one with sway bars. Dsmlink will increase your reliability, power, and also decrease your autox times by shaving 1-2 seconds at the start with the launch feature.

You are right tho mike (if he wanted a track only car), if he really wanted a real suspension, he would get the sway bars and a Koni setup....

But the Konis do have a nasty effect of actually increasing the ride height, my car is higher in the air than with my stock shock/intrax combo.
