My car had both plates when I bought it. Wanna guess how many fucks were given? My last two cars were screws directly into the bumper. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The Itty Bitty NOVA VW Committee - Senor_Taylor - 02-28-2018 [emoji41][emoji41][emoji41] ![]() Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk RE: The Itty Bitty NOVA VW Committee - rherold9 - 02-28-2018 Madison GTICX5Sports Congrats on the cars though. Leather, so there isn't any plaid interior, and a different set of wheels that don't look horrible, should be the only way to rock a GTI, imo. RE: The Itty Bitty NOVA VW Committee - JustinG - 03-01-2018 I'm digging the green, and had the Alltrack been faster I'd be rocking a VW. But yeah, GTI wheels have always been fugly IMO RE: The Itty Bitty NOVA VW Committee - SlimKlim - 03-01-2018 (02-28-2018, 11:24 PM)JustinG Wrote: Hey Joey, would this work? I don’t think so, I think the Golf R has a different grill pattern. I took a look at the OEM one tonight and I think my 3M tape method will be just fine, I ordered some on Amazon and I’ll install it after I polish and seal the paint this weekend. RE: The Itty Bitty NOVA VW Committee - JustinG - 03-01-2018 Lemme know if ya wanna try it. Wouldn't be that long of a print. Just cost ya postage. RE: The Itty Bitty NOVA VW Committee - RawrImAMonster - 03-01-2018 I like the OE Serron's on the MK6 and the Pretoria's on the MK7 Golf R. The serron's even look pretty good on the MK7's. Not a bad choice for a cheap spare setup. ![]() And the pretorias:

I'm not really feeling the ones that come on the facelift, but I might be planning a fix for that later this year. ![]() EDIT: Oh and I finally figured out how to use "Park Assist", it can be used to steer you into either a parallel space or a perpendicular space, and also steer you out of a parallel space. Not a gadget I'm going to use often but I'll keep tinkering with it since I have it. It could be handy to help identify a parallel spot i can fit into on a busy street. RE: The Itty Bitty NOVA VW Committee - JPolen01 - 03-01-2018 I forgot about the Pretorias on the R. Those are pretty. RE: The Itty Bitty NOVA VW Committee - RawrImAMonster - 03-01-2018 Not OE, but these are my favorite wheels I've seen for the MK7 so far: ![]()
RE: The Itty Bitty NOVA VW Committee - SlimKlim - 03-01-2018 ^ Yes those are lovely. I also tested the Limits of Lane Assist this morning. It actually followed the curve of the road for about a minute on 28 this morning, much better than I expected. It held on for about a minute before throwing up a warning message begging me to take over control again. The Itty Bitty NOVA VW Committee - JustinG - 03-01-2018 I knew about the new R wheels. Guys are throwing them on All tracks and they look great. Didn't know half the other wheels existed. 90% of the GTIs I see either have those wineglass wheels (2007?) or the ugly ninja star (2016?) looking ones... Seriously considering joining the bandwagon whenever the forester sells since its probably the smartest decision with my options and I've always wanted to be like Taylor. RE: The Itty Bitty NOVA VW Committee - Senor_Taylor - 03-01-2018 Aw shucks, Ryan (The good Ryan). I like my wheels. Zach and I were comparing, and mine are much... Sharper? Not sure how to describe it. ![]() ![]() Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk |
