One of my friends told us he saw one in Broadway and we gave him so much shit for that. I guess he did after all. Why the hell was one of like 50 Enzos in the US around here? Yep someone here probably knows more but it is some guy who lived locally that sold a software company or something for a few hundred mil and used to have a big collection of cars. The first time I saw that Enzo was when I was driving off of the car lot in Harrisonburg after buying my old white IS300. He drove by right in front of me as I was leaving after signing the paperwork. I too was a little astonished at the display of wealth in a town full of meth heads. Re: MMMM: Memorable Moments in Madison Motorsports - Goodspeed - 07-31-2015 Wasn't there also a doctor at RMH that drove a Carrera GT for a time? Hey, most of the meth heads live in Elkton. Re: MMMM: Memorable Moments in Madison Motorsports - Jewels - 07-31-2015 I remember the party at Ryan's where, when RJ bailed and his motorcycle went one way, and he went the other, I face planted. Hadn't even been drinking. Just lost my footing and BOOM. Ryan's older brother was trying to give me Crown Royal for the pain. I remember the cookout at Hunter Brown's too. It was cold as fuck, but the food was good, and the beer was cold. We watched Hunter beat Super Mario Brothers in like 5 minutes. Only affirmed my suspicions to stay away from Bikes...and RJ  Re: MMMM: Memorable Moments in Madison Motorsports - CaptainHenreh - 07-31-2015 Jewels Wrote:I remember the party at Ryan's where, when RJ bailed and his motorcycle went one way, and he went the other, I face planted. RJ didn't BAIL, he FAILED at doing a wheelie. Where is The Claw in this thread? Someone send it to him, so he can tell The RJ Story. I now understand the legacy of firing up SMB at Turducken after seeing this and the duck hunt photos. Probably helps explain to the current students who were bored out of their minds seeing it at the last Turducken. Quote: That car was such a beautiful example of an M3. It got put to good use but some times I think it was a shame to turn it into a race kar. Re: MMMM: Memorable Moments in Madison Motorsports - Jeff - 07-31-2015 There is so much solid stuff here. Thanks Goodspeed for being such a good documentarian. Re: MMMM: Memorable Moments in Madison Motorsports - Senor_Taylor - 07-31-2015 Has anyone posted this? Yeah, seriously, without Goodspeed, this thread would be nothing. Re: MMMM: Memorable Moments in Madison Motorsports - rherold9 - 07-31-2015 We need an epic MM promo vid of these old pictures, new pictures, old video, and new video Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk Re: MMMM: Memorable Moments in Madison Motorsports - SlimKlim - 07-31-2015 "Madison Motoforts: Fifteen Years of Being Fucking Awesome" has a nice ring to it. Re: MMMM: Memorable Moments in Madison Motorsports - Jake - 07-31-2015 That video actually turned out alright. I know it accompanied an article in the paper... I think this is the one. Re: MMMM: Memorable Moments in Madison Motorsports - HAULN-SS - 07-31-2015 6 pages of thread, and no pictures of people laying other people's motorcycles on their side yet? I think that's happened at every turducken I've been to Re: MMMM: Memorable Moments in Madison Motorsports - rherold9 - 07-31-2015 Last turducken was pretty lame. Kaan was just like we are old now. I think the most exciting thing that happened was when Jake called me some name. I forget lol Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk Re: MMMM: Memorable Moments in Madison Motorsports - SlimKlim - 07-31-2015 Another Charleston Townes memory. Remember 'the girls' stealing my helmet and running across the street with no shirts on? Re: MMMM: Memorable Moments in Madison Motorsports - Jewels - 07-31-2015 Don't we have pictures of the mashed potatoes on the ceiling or wall at RJ's house? Or the ice luge? Or the time we asked the Vegetarian to cut up the Turducken because we had no idea how to do it? Re: MMMM: Memorable Moments in Madison Motorsports - ScottyB - 07-31-2015 our glorious club in 2004. from left: Mike, me, Ryan Wilson, Dave, Feersty, don't know, Ed Wotring, Gerald, Maeng, Dave again or Rex ![]() jayray and b00bies on grid at slummit in 04 ![]() homage to our finest Chrysler genius redneck, Jeff (as a result of everyone trolling his mower project thread) ![]() (encouragement after getting his Shelby somethingorother running)
Re: MMMM: Memorable Moments in Madison Motorsports - SlimKlim - 07-31-2015 How many freaking MKIV Supras have made their way through the club? Bet you guys feel real stupid for selling them. |
