It was one of the most fun times I had although it got a little scary at times. We were in a tight competitive race with Team 8 and it was a blast because of it. It was fun being able to see the kart you needed to pass to change position unlike usual where all the leaders are on a vast array of lap counts. The teams in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th were all on the same lap for the majority of the race. Chasing down Team 8 made it a blast and having Team 2 (Dj) come into the battle for a few laps on the last stint made it even better.
I broke down Team 1's laps and found our fastest laps.
Garrett - 28.559
Lincoln - 27.461
Matt - 27.084
I only have my sheet so I can't post everyone's fastest but will edit this post with the info if anyone was curious where your fastest lap placed you for the day. I know Dj and Shea had faster laps than me, but am not sure if anyone else did.

Had an awesome time as usual - hard to beat karts for all around hilarity - and it was cool to meet some new faces! x3 to the photos, get 'em up!

My team finished 48 laps back...

Yeah some karts got tangled up while someone was getting lapped and all I saw was a kart hit the wall and go airborne

I asked her if she was okay afterwards and she said yeah, but she seemed shaken. That's why I got DJ, at least I think it was DJ, to go get her off the track. We couldn't flag her in to pit no matter how hard we tried. I ended up pulling 40 minutes straight because both of them kind of... disappeared. Chris, who was on another team, had to write down my lap times on his board to tell me. Not sure about the guy, because he didn't speak English.

Taylor, it was no problem, next time come up to us whenever there is an issue. Sometimes a quick 10 second fix is all it needed and we got them in.
Looks like everyone had a great time. 2nd/3rd/4th were on the same lap all race, which was cool to watch the battles.

We had a number of people that were very quick. Matt, you did extremely well. I think you and Shea were on top of each other in times.
I don't prefer this version of the track, I liked when there were s-curves. With all the good drivers and lightweights coming up, I need to lose a couple lbs off my piggy ass.
I beleive Shea was a 27.056 and yours at 27.084. Do we know who was 4th and 5th in fastest lap time?
How close Top 5 in fastest lap would be cool.

I have no idea what my times were....i should have grabbed a sheet. Just glad I was able to balance out the team a little with my hefty size compared to my teammates
