Something worth noting, I've read and heard of gas prices jumping due to Ike. If you need to fill up for the trip, I'd recommend doing it now to avoid possibly rising costs in your area. Again I hope nothing drastic enough occurs to deter people from the trip!

I filled up tonight when I was out. Went through 3 sold out gas stations before I found one to fill up at. Its crazy out there.

I still have more than 1/2 a tank... so I should be okay for the drive on Sunday but would like to fill up just in case. Guess I should do that tomorrow AM then.

All along Bridgewater it was. The one when you get off 81 heading towards the college. The one when you past the college at the intersection(on 42). The one if you make a right on 42 little bit down the road. I kept going on 42 and finally found one in harrisonburg with gas.

I went in and talked to the people at one of them and they said they sold out around 8 or 9ish and were waiting on a shipment at 5am. This was at 10pm and people kept pulling in to pump up the whole time i was there.

Freaking ike is a category 1 now also. Total bs.

I now know to bring a hat in the car at all times. :roll: Learned that one the hard way.

hey guys, i just joined the club on wednesday. i am a freshman and my name is Hyatt Harper. I'll be able to go on the drive on sunday because my car is parked at hunters ridge apartments. im looking forward to seeing all the people i met at the meeting. is there any more info i should know besides what was said at the meeting?

Not really. If you're driving, it'll cost 10 dollars to enter the SD, other than that everything else should be fine. Fill up in town and try to bring a food item!

Great cruise, e'eryone! Aside from a few non-MM drivers causing almost-bad situations, we all made it through Skyline to Jeff's (bawlin') house. I managed to win the "Lock Dem Shits Up" award on the way out of town (yay, no ABS!) but all was well on my end after that. Thanks to Jeff for having us over and letting us eat everything in sight Big Grin

PM me if you want things supar-hi-rez. Yes, I know I have dust on my camera's sensor... I'm too lazy to 'chop it out of the pix for now. Oh, and bonus - I scored 29 MPG today, with all the hoonage and everything:
