I did, was a bit drunk at the time but it felt almost too snug for me. I'm sure on track though once moving around it would be perfect. - Hunter - 09-29-2005 Maengelito Wrote:did anyone sit in my pro2000? skinny asses such as myself (and hunter or jayray) should fit really nicely. I liked it alot...but its a few hundred dollars out of my price range. - .RJ - 09-29-2005 Well, if you cheap out on it now you will kick yourself later for not buying better equipment. A good seat is one of the best things you can do for a track car. - white_2kgt - 09-29-2005 .RJ Wrote:Well, if you cheap out on it now you will kick yourself later for not buying better equipment. - Nick325is - 09-29-2005 I have certainly discovered its better to do it right the first time when it comes to performance parts on my car. Even if it means that you have to wait longer to save up for the parts. I dropped 600 dollars on my first suspension setup and I could've only spent a few hundred more and done the GC then instead of now. Mine haven't crack in 1.5 years, that's over 10 events. No way your car is harder on brakes than mine. - .RJ - 09-29-2005 white_2kgt Wrote:No way your car is harder on brakes than mine. Car is front heavy, and has tiny 10" rotors, single piston calipers, small brake pads and currently no ducting...... - white_2kgt - 09-29-2005 .RJ Wrote:white_2kgt Wrote:No way your car is harder on brakes than mine. He listed it last week for $500 but didnt return my email for a shipping quote. I just went ahead and ordered one from RallyNuts in the UK for $600. I just hope it gets here in time, it still hasnt shipped .... - Chris - 09-30-2005 Evan Wrote:yeah, I was watching the auction for the red one. He listed it last week for $500 but didnt return my email for a shipping quote. nice Evan! since we're on the safety thread, I was wondering if your current roll bar is the hard dog hard core or the boss frog clearview. Are your shoulder harness straps attached to the "hoop" part of the roll bar or do you have a harness bar running in-between the two main roll bar posts. here are the examples I'm talking about for clarification: boss frog clearview: http://www.teammiata.com/mall/Boss_Frog_Single_Bar.asp hard core: http://www.teammiata.com/hard-dogc.htm harness installation: http://www.teammiata.com/libs/harness_install.htm I was originally set on the hard core, but then I found the clear view which seems the exact same, but allows greater rear visibility. Then I was trying to figure out how the shoulder harness belts attach- because I thought they had to be straight back at 90 degrees from the shoulder and wrap around a horizontal bar? - .RJ - 09-30-2005 The shoulder harnesses wrap around the harness bar in the rollbar - the rollbar should have one in the main hoop. - Evan - 09-30-2005 Chris I have the Hard dog Hardcore double diagonal. The harnesses strap to the harness bar that runs between the vertical section of the hoop. For some reason the picture of the hardcore bar on the website doesnt have a harness bar that boss frog one doesnt look like it has a harness bar, id stay away from it |
