Re: MM Fantasy Football II - Apoc - 09-12-2011 Mike Wrote:i have a dream team due to keeping vick in the 5th round and arian foster in the 4th You've mention "keeping in a round" before and I don't understand it. Splain? Re: MM Fantasy Football II - JustinG - 09-12-2011 fucking lost by 3, would have been worse if Miami's QB Henne hadn't played like a boss, projected for like 10 pts, came up with 38. Re: MM Fantasy Football II - WRXtranceformed - 09-13-2011 Scooped up Ben Tate as a flex filler this week in the hopes that Arian Foster is still sidelined for week 2. Had to scoop up a random kicker since Kaeding has AIDS in his knee now and is out for the season...think I ended up with Akers. Re: MM Fantasy Football II - Mike - 09-13-2011 12 team league. only lacking in rb depth... just gotta be quick to pick up when someone gets injured. "keeping in a round" = you keep people based on where you got them last year +1 round with a maximum of round 5. picked arian in 5th last year = costs my 4th round pick this year. got vick as free agent = costs my 5th this year. Re: MM Fantasy Football II - Apoc - 09-13-2011 Mike Wrote:picked arian in 5th last year = costs my 4th round pick this year. gfc. could they have made it any easier for you? btw, the team of mine you liked was 8/10 in points and the other was 2/12 (behind brady owner). Re: MM Fantasy Football II - Mike - 09-13-2011 dems the rules. hrug:of course, they want to change them this year, but didn't decide on any specifics. that = no changes after week 1. Re: MM Fantasy Football II - Apoc - 09-14-2011 Managed to pick up Cam Newton and Cadillac Williams off waivers last night. I half expected to not get either one. We drafted 14 rounds and filled 2 add'l rosters spots through waivers. This reads from the bottom up. I don't see you starting him a whole lot, but it's worth a week 1 waiver gamble. Re: MM Fantasy Football II - Apoc - 09-14-2011 I agree. Rodgers is my starter, so this was a pick up to replace my back up. ...who was McNabb. Re: MM Fantasy Football II - Mike - 09-14-2011 oh mcnabb.... Re: MM Fantasy Football II - WRXtranceformed - 09-15-2011 First trade of the season pending...I'm stacked on WRs so I'm giving up Maclin for Felix Jones. Both are a flex spot filler, so I feel pretty good about it. Re: MM Fantasy Football II - Apoc - 09-19-2011 Might just have to start Cam next week. Re: MM Fantasy Football II - CaptainHenreh - 09-19-2011 Apoc Wrote:Might just have to start Cam next week.+1 Re: MM Fantasy Football II - WRXtranceformed - 09-19-2011 I hate my team. Re: MM Fantasy Football II - Mike - 09-19-2011 CJ and Arian not doing much for me... Lost this week. Re: MM Fantasy Football II - WRXtranceformed - 09-19-2011 Sure glad I traded Maclin this week (34 points) for Felix Jones (2 points, injured first half) Re: MM Fantasy Football II - Mike - 09-19-2011 maclin was silllllllly. Re: MM Fantasy Football II - WRXtranceformed - 09-19-2011 Could be worse, I could have had Manning or Charles
Re: MM Fantasy Football II - Apoc - 09-19-2011 I'm having a "good" problem. Stafford backing up Brees and Cam backing up Rodgers. I know the moment I start either of them, they'll come back down to Earth. In what seems to a ridiculous points year, at least the first 2 weeks, my teams are woefully marginal. I'll probably come away with 2 wins this week for 3-1 overall, but I'm not confident in either team. Re: MM Fantasy Football II - WRXtranceformed - 08-24-2013 Just had our fantasy draft today! Going on our 5th year and we made it a keeper league this year to make things interesting. Payout is the same as last year: $1k for first, $400 for second, $100 for third. We also have 4 optional side bets that everyone always ends up participating in. This year there are two season long side bets: Longest Streak and Best Record ($140 each). We also added two weekly side bets: Highest Point Total and Biggest Blowout ($10 each per week). How my draft ended up with the 7th pick again this year (10 team): Brees Chris Johnson Alfred Morris (keeper, picked up on waivers last year so accounted for my 8th rd pick) Victor Cruz Roddy White Gronk Jared Cook Shane Vereen Seahawks D (keeper, accounted for my 13th rd pick. Defenses are very heavily weighted in our league, highest scoring position next to QB) Matt Bryant Big Ben Fred Jackson Chris Givens Kenbrell Thompkins Chiefs D I feel pretty good about my team, especially some of the late rounders I picked up (Givens, Thompkins). I think they both have a ton of potential this year. |
