Does your driver rating effect which trucks you can buy? I got up to 22k ish and went to buy a truck thinking i could get one for right around 20k. Turns out the best truck I could buy was like a 98, for 16k. I found it hard to believe there were no trucks between that and my 22k limit, hence my question.
Also, what after the fuel economy upgrades do you all buy?

i buy all the fuel economy upgrades.
there is a bug with truck buying. our company has a 15% discount, but when it shows you the trucks you can afford, it only uses the list of them BEFORE the 15% reduction... seems like a 15 second fix, but it has been there a while.

still truckin i think i have a mid range truck. it am hardly ever limited on speed by my truck. What do you get by up grading? Better MPG? is it worth it?

just got the lonestar... yesss... now time to pimp it out since there is nothing else for me to spend money on.
benefits of upgrading: repair less (since top speed is through the roof), better mpg, better capacity, higher fuel load.

Id be in the 75k range if I sold the truck I currently have but I think i'm gonna save up until I hit 100k. Unfortunately my rating isnt even 20 yet =(

i don't think anything. you can get the double trailer at 25. i just hit 36... 14 more to go to triple trailer (i think).

nah i got the Double Trailer at 10. do they have a FAQ for this stuff. it seems like this game is still in the dev stage.
