Fack j00, I can't stand talking on the phone so I text.

I bet if you cut out the nonessential conversation you would talk on the phone just as much as you do now without a texting.

Yeah, you have lots of friends, man.

Amen! Sounds like a good product, and the price is pretty damn good. Too bad we don't have 3G down in da 'noke. Sad (cue dueling banjos)

They just really need a "click here if you are a responsible adult who doesn't give a crap about MySpace moble and has better things to do than waste your life texting your 'friends'" button on their website. Because it sounds like they have a great service... paired with woeful advertising!

Maybe it's brilliant? Maybe they figure they'll sell to all the teens, and in 5 years, that whole generation will be tied to their service? :dunno: Kind of reminds me of Toyota's multiple attempts to make "hip" products and brands, but old people keep buying them because they're actually quite good.

Wow, I have zero service at work. Nothing. Zip. At least with the sprint phone I could stand by the window and talk. And I was starting to be pretty happy with getting reception everywhere.

Fuck me. Now what?

- BLINGMW - 01-02-2007

d'oh! :?

balls. every carrier has those little pockets all over the place. i'd say cingular and verizon are the only two you should go with so verizon is next up Smile

- WRXtranceformed - 01-02-2007

+1 on the Verizon, the phones are gay but the service owns!

- BLINGMW - 01-02-2007

hell, do the damn Helio, since it's Verizon and Sprint.

- Feersty - 01-02-2007

For some reason I don't get service at every Catholic church I go to. Yeah you got me?

- .RJ - 01-02-2007

God hates cell phones. Or maybe he hates you Wink

what happens when you go to the synagogue?

- Sijray21 - 01-02-2007

again - Verizon Service FTW :-P (can you hear me now?...good...)

the phones aren't bad enough to get other service providers over it.

I stopped in a cingular store while I was out this evening, to see if they had any recommendation on a phone that got better reception than what I had now - the guy said "What do you want me to do? The phones are all the same". I tried to tell him that the Samsung I bought first had better reception than the current phone, and he told me I was wrong and they were all the same. So I just left. Jackass.

I may give this a shot - http://reviews.cnet.com/Motorola_V365/4 ... 54924.html

I'm still not happy with the LG phone I've got, the reception is spotty, and sound quality isnt great - lots of static in a lot of places and I've had a few dropped calls.

- white_2kgt - 01-07-2007

make sure you get a phone w/ a telescopic antenna, I've make sure the past 2 phones I have gotten were and the reception is 10x better than any of the built in antenna's I ever had were. Most of the time you can leave the antenna in, but when you need it you can pull it out and waive it around.

FWIW, My Phone (Samsung Drift) running on Sprint's network got 4 bars and good quality in RJs basement. (and it has an internal antenna - not even a stub)

RJ I think you are just cursed when it comes to cell phones.

maybe it has something to do w/ that big metal plate in his head...

T-mobile + Samsung = great......

cheap too......

For what it's worth, I love Samsung flip phones. I had an E105 for 4 years that I recently upgraded to a T-609. Both have gotten great reception, seem to be solidly built (god knows how many times I dropped my E105...) and are easy to use.

- WRXtranceformed - 01-08-2007

RAZR sucks a fat one.

- .RJ - 01-09-2007

I have a 38.46 charge on my bill for "other charges"... what the fuck?

At least sprint never tried to fuck me on billing.
