about the whole being unemployed thing: market yourself Feersty! Get a temp job as a waitor or in a department store or something. The only thing preventing you from having income is laziness. You have a house to sleep in, a shower to use and, an alarm clock to wake you. Hell, you even have a car to transport you! Before i got my fulltime job i was about to start at my local Chili's for my training - fyi.

I'm with everybody else.
There should be no "patiently waiting" on anything regarding your employment. If you're waiting for a call back you should be out marketing yourself to other businesses. You can't have too many people trying to hire you... and if you're putting all your eggs in one basket then you shouldn't be - it won't work. Finding a job is a job in itself.... do something.

Rob,
I'm with RJ on this one, I highly recommend trying to find a server/bartender job. Not just for the money, but it might help you with obtaining some skillsets that might make you more marketable to employers.
Personally I was a pretty shy kid before I started waiting tables and bartending, but now its easy for me to approach anyone and what not.
Just my .02 cents, and I think I'll add something to this list and maybe a little emo

The first time I had to do it was 8th grade school physicals....it was "done" by an old lady that wore no gloves. To this day I still think it was some inane old hag that walked off the street to touch boys. I sobbed uncontrollably for weeks.
