- LorenaBeana - 09-01-2005 Monday when I filled up it was $3.19 for 93. This is 2 weeks after I was fed up paying $40 to fill up, and seriously did some research on the elise. I'm also REALLY wanting a bike, but then my parents would kill me. Well, either my driving style on a bike or my parents would kill me first. - ScottyB - 09-01-2005 LorenaBeana Wrote:did some research on the elise. just get the elise, it's practically as small as a bike  - Feersty - 09-01-2005 I am beginning to think that buying a car that takes premium is not worth it

To me, there's never been a better time to buy a car that takes premium because hey, you're gonna pay out the ass anyway! What's 10 more cents when gas is 3.50? - Sijray21 - 09-02-2005 CaptainHenreh Wrote:Feersty Wrote:I am beginning to think that buying a car that takes premium is not worth it agreed, the ratio of 87:93 octane price now is smaller than ever when related to overall prices either way this sucks...paying way too much for gas - JackoliciousLegs - 09-02-2005 Yeah... I'm almost glad I have no car. :-) - Andy - 09-02-2005 Apparently when gas hits 3.50, the U.S. will be a prime market for foreign gas suppliers like Mexico's PEMEX to come in and sell. Unfortunately, mexican is about as good as mexican water. It killed off my gf's Subaru's cats in the 2,000+ miles that we drove around mexico. Our saving grace was the car was still under the emissions warranty, and subie had to eat the 1300.00 dollar bill

With an 18 gallon tank, your only spending about $4 more per fill up from empty. I can handle $4 a week to drive what I want. - Kaan - 09-02-2005 this is what i realized... 3 years ago when i bought the car i was paying about $17 to fill up today... $35 thats twice the price! i need a beer! - Sijray21 - 09-02-2005 Kaan Wrote:this is what i realized... 3 years ago? damn it was about 6 months ago, i have the reciepts and records at home. $18-19 roughly to fill up the civic, now it's $32-33....almost double....fucking incredulous - ScottyB - 09-02-2005 i sound so old saying this but i remember when i first got my liscense, i used to hassle my parents to let me take the car out so i could "fill it up" the sheetz down the road from my place had premium for 99 cents a gallon. ah the good old days. - Feersty - 09-02-2005 No unecessary trips for me. I am going to try and keep my driving to a minimum. I am seeing more motorcycles on the road  It is now $3.18 for regular unleaded in Springfield. - Dragon - 09-02-2005 Went from $2.99 to $3.21 overnight next to my place, guess I shoulda filled up on my way home last night. Ah well. - Kaan - 09-02-2005 maybe i should look into that aprillia 250 now
- JackoliciousLegs - 09-02-2005 Kaan Wrote:maybe i should look into that aprillia 250 nowThat sounds sooooooo good.... - Sijray21 - 09-02-2005 Feersty Wrote:No unecessary trips for me. Not sure the exact price of the station near my house, but the exxon near feersty's is actually one of the cheapest in the area (across the street from that big Shell station) i'll check the liberty when i get home. - Kaan - 09-02-2005 aprillia 250 = handles over power and i'm not sure the chicks dig it... but a 900cc bike is still sucking fuel!
