Re: March 21-23: NASA at VIR - JustinG - 03-11-2014 Jake Wrote:OK, we need to figure out who's gonna be coming and eating food/drinking beer with us. We will probably grill on Saturday PM (right, DJ?) so the typical burgers/hot dogs are what I figure we'll do unless people want to bring their own stuff to grill. An FYI for the students, there are Grocery stores within 15 minutes of the track too. So you don't have to worry about bringing cold stuff from H-burg. But, I will probably be leaving Sunday. Also, with food Jake I'll have a non-MMer coming but I'll be throwing in some money for food/drinks. Does it cost anything to get into the track? I'll most likely be there, I just don't know which car I'm bringing yet. rherold9 Wrote:*insertusernamehere* Wrote:Is anyone leaving VIR Saturday night, by any chance? Half the fun of the track is hanging out at night when everyone is bench racing and drinking. I'd recommend staying if you can. It should be free to get into the track but if you want to camp or you want electricity, it should cost you a little bit, I dont know how much though. I have never been charged, can't gaurantee that. Electricity is paid for always by me, although it would be nice if people chipped in, but I have a feeling that I am the one using it the most. If you don't find anyone, I'll probably be leaving kinda early Sunday morning. Maybe 10/11 or so. Casey and I will pickup a large pack of hotdogs from sams club and buns to go with. Someone needs to bring condiments. Re: March 21-23: NASA at VIR - Maengelito - 03-14-2014 Do we have gas for that grill? Re: March 21-23: NASA at VIR - D_Eclipse9916 - 03-14-2014 No, We seem to run through the "camper" gas things like it's crack. I'd like to pick up one of those bigger canisters and an adapter or whatever we need. Instead of being a 2-pack of camper gas cans everytime. Re: March 21-23: NASA at VIR - navin - 03-14-2014 Drop off the Sparco and I'll give you my spare (empty) propane tank.. Re: March 21-23: NASA at VIR - JustinG - 03-14-2014 This is more than likely what you need. Unless you have been using an adapter to run the 1lb tanks and it is already setup for a 20lb. http://www.amazon.com/Char-Broil-4-Foot ... lb+to+20lb Re: March 21-23: NASA at VIR - Senor_Taylor - 03-14-2014 I also have a friend coming with me. He's getting up to JMU at 4 on Friday. Are all the students riding down together? I'm really hoping I don't have to drive, as that'd be a tank and a half easy for me. I'm bringing a tent and an air mattress. Should I buy a drop cord? Edit: Fuck it, y'all. I'm driving. So if anyone wants anything big carried down from H-Burg. We've got my truck. Called off work for spring break and they won't let me take a consecutive weekend off. I hope everyone has a blast!! Re: March 21-23: NASA at VIR - Senor_Taylor - 03-17-2014 So, who is heading down from JMU and when are you leaving? |
