Whenever you need to find out if there's an open spot you need to contact Laura. We cannot see any of that info, plus she has all the last minute cancellations and stuff like that. She's playing the part of Registrar this year, since Sean's taking some time for himself. So please if you want this guy to be able to Hyperdrive, you need to contact her. Also, you cannot wait to get to the track by 12 that day. He'll need to tech around 10am, so that person needs to be there in the morning.

PS - for anyone noodlin' about saying they don't have their car "set up" for a "racetrack" and not Hyperdriving... honestly, as long as it will stop when you push the brake pedal and not puke coolant everywhere or catch fire, it's 100% fine to Hyperdrive it. If it's your first time driving on track, particularly in a Hyperdrive, you and the car won't be pushed anywhere near the point of needing special, upgraded anything.

A Honda minivan went out for a hyperdrive in October. So yea, if your car made it from Hburg to VIR, its ok for a hyperdrive.

I might consider hyperdrive'in the VW in March HA, most likely going to have to take MM'ers in the morning Saturday to the track so I probably will not get there in time for the drivers meeting- Jake, will you coach me through the first couple laps??

Hyperdrives come with an instructor. So you don't have to worrry about that. You attend class, and then have a driving session with an instructor. You'll be fine.

Seriously, my car didnt have an engine/trans in it earlier this week :lol: Pretty sure you can take the time to swap tires/pads or whatever you need to do.

Yup, no problems with us, as long as you are at our house ready to go by the time we leave you've got a ride. I'm not sure of the rooming situation is yet, but I know we usually stay at the track. So you might need someone to give you a ride to and from the hotel in town. But I doubt that'll be a problem.
