Re: Tattoos - Apoc - 03-19-2010 I think the "I change my mind too much" is kinda BS. I seriously doubt we all so severely lack the attention span to find something we appreciate enough to keep for life. I can understand not getting corporate bands, logos or en vogue designs but I think everyone has at least a few things here that they've either liked or believed in since they were younger. Tattoos certainly aren't for everyone, but I bet if you asked the question differently "What's important to me?" or "What do I believe in?" you might come up with a few ideas. Not all of them are tattoo material, but you get the point. Iunno, maybe I just have an over-romanticized view of them... but that's why they work for me. Deracola, you've changed my mind. Scotty! Sketch Zombie Stonewall Jackson shooting an AK into the air while riding a Tyrannosaur with 50 dollar bills coming out of it's mouth. I'll shop it around to a couple of local parlors... Re: Tattoos - Apoc - 03-19-2010 Don't forget to put Faye Reagan doing a headstand on the T-Rex's tail. No, angry bees come out of the dinosaur's mouth. Re: Tattoos - ScottyB - 03-19-2010 how about knives coming out of it's mouth? can the T-rex have an eye patch? Re: Tattoos - A350Zisa - 03-19-2010 Mike Wrote:is it me or does that last guy john posted have a boob? like... not a man-tit, but a boob. no, Mike. thats just what real men look like. grow a pair! tehe. it might look like a boob because of the size of his arms, or structure of his chest (bird chested). Re: Tattoos - TorinoCobra070 - 03-20-2010 Just throwing this out there, what if the t-rex had a peg leg, or a cape? And maybe have zombie stonewall shooting the AK with one hand, and drinking a bottle of whiskey with the other? Re: Tattoos - V1GiLaNtE - 03-21-2010 ^^ or if not whiskey one of those jugs that says XXX on it..
Re: Tattoos - NTIman - 03-21-2010 As far as I'm concerned, there are a lot of things I have loved since I was younger, but I don't think it would make me enjoy them more if I had it plastered on my body. I mean, maybe one day I'll get alzheimers and forget about how I enjoy riding my bike and playing guitar, but at that point, I don't think I'll really care, even if I have a tattoo to remind me. Not knocking people who get tattoos about things they love or whatever, but I don't think it cheapens what you love if you're not willing to get a tattoo of it. Re: Tattoos - LC619FR - 03-22-2010 Lot's of interesting views here...I have two tat's ones just a funny like fireman leprecon guy and the other is a celtic cross with a maltese cross in the back round with men of fire written above it and brotherhood above all below it both written in gaelic

Re: Tattoos - balactm - 03-29-2010 I guess it's time for me to chime in...I have 3, i am currently at a school computer and don't have pics of any of them, but i'll post later...I have a puzzle piece surrounded by "beams" of light on my left pec, symbolizing finding whatever it is in your life that makes you complete or "finishes your puzzle." I have the words "lifa i samhljomi" on my right collar bone area, which means live in harmony in icelandic. I am a firm believer in treating everyone with respect and there is a bible quote that starts with the words live in harmony. My newest addition is a gian tree that covers my entire right side including my ribs part of my back and my right chest. It symbolizes being rooted in who i am and the fact that there are no leaves indicates that i have am me down to the core, no fluff, no two faced-ness, just me. I understand why people get tons of tattoos, they're addicting. They hurt like hell in some places, ask me about the tree, but in the end it becomes worth it. I enjoy getting the tatto done because when he stops, you get a moment of euphoria where all of the pain goes away, and your feel instantly better. Also, girls with tats...totally hot as long as they stay away from the face. I plan on getting numerous more tattoos. I won't be covered, but i definitely like the idea of having more ink. I'm not really a fan of the color ink though...black and gray is good for me. i'll post pics when i get home |
