I usually have much better luck putting my phone number in a CL ad than I do with just my email. No problems with phone abuse, either (you get dummies and non-english speakers calling, but whatever).

to sell the s, i put up a CL ad with my e-mail address... it sold very quickly and without any hassle to me.

You could always use Grand Central if you didn't want to give out your real number.

I don't put my # in CL ads but I really don't see a problem with it. RJ has a very good point about newspaper ads.

I had a couple of prank calls from some CL ads I put up, so I don't put my # in them anymore.
