If you're looking at the maxis marker package, just know that I have that same hopper, and it...well, it's better than feeding the balls in by hand, one by one.
In retrospect, I really should have waited a little while and gotten a 98 custom or A5 instead of just a 98. I really really like the 98, I don't feel like I'm going to break it if I fell....very rugged, very easy to service. Just the 98 doesn't have any of the cool-shit accessories that the custom does, like the response trigger, cyclone feed, etc.
I'll never be like, a pro paint baller, so I see no need to spend a grand for any crazy electro-pneumatic valving system bullshit. Gonna get my ass whupped with a tippy or a angel...so I might as well spend tippy money.

great deal... the barrel is TOO LONG... sniper barrels are worthless. so plan on another $20 for a barrel... i have a JandJ ceramic 12 inch barrel... accurate as fuck for woods ball games. and if you cut a ball you just keep shooting and it cleans itself.

you dont have to do anything to a 98 custom. spray it with a hose... drop some oil in there before you fire it
they are easier than RJs mom!

I probably wouldn't pay more than $100 excluding, only because you can get most of that brand new for $100-$150. The nice extras are two spare tanks, barrel cleaner and the pods but you're talking about getting all of this new for $200.

So I went to Sports Authority at Springfield Mall to get my canisters refilled. The Mall is going down the crapper btw. So when I get them back the dude says...uh this one is broke. There was moisture on the outside and when he told me to put my ear up to the top of it and I could hear the CO2 seeping out. He was likem eh man you should throw it away. I was like uh, what is the lifespan of these. He was Like uhh I dont know. Am I dealing with incompetence here? Up until today I didn't know it was "broke." They are 20 ouncers.

They actually do have an "expiration" date on them. You can take it to a scuba shop that tests tank integrity to get it recertified (if it wasn't leaking).
