try looking through listings of chicago cars. Pickings are slim, my friend.

- JackoliciousLegs - 11-20-2005

You know what... I might have to take a trip back to crapmax... check out stock number: 3226646

It's actually a solid deal.

Alright, I need feedback asap on this impreza. What do people think of them... reliable? Any maintenance issues I should be aware of? etc.

Ok, my friend Brian has got an '01 (old style) 2.5 RS. He loves it. The only issue he's ever had was with the transmission, which was his own fault, not that of the car's.

Like I said earlier...the only problem with the 2.5 RS is the WRX.

and the only problem with the WRX is the STi

- JackoliciousLegs - 11-21-2005

If the car checks out, price seems good? (seems good to me)

I would be more inclined to pay 10, but the car *is* in chicago and *is* from a dealer.

I think the price seems fair. Not great, but fair.

Edmunds says dealer retail is 13,871 and certified is around 14k.

So yeah, if you drive it and like it, I say go for it.

- Jeff - 11-22-2005

Rex,
Maybe he might want an EVO Smile (insert hating remarks here)

- Sijray21 - 11-22-2005

seriously though, go for a test drive. No b00st, but still a great car none-the-less. With a carmax car you won't run the risk of buying a piece from a private party.

That doesnt prevent you from getting a pos lemon in any way.

You have a better chance of buying from a person with a soul if you buy from a private seller.
